Isn’t Helen amazing? Was such a treat to fossick in her suitcases in Wellington - she is such a valuable retailer for kiwi stitchers, and her customer service is just impeccable. So lucky for us that she has decided to be involved in the community! Your goddess looks amazing, and i am also keen to join Quack Along - maybe I need to see what fabric Helen has…. - take care, Nic x

Hi Rach - great video again, hey are you signed up for any of the retreats? LH or Christchurch? Be good to see you if you are x take care, Nic x PS isn’t Judy an incredible enabler?! I was ready to offer you my TW chart as the likelihood of me ever stitching that one is slim but glad you got it sorted!

Heya! Take two on the comment! Yes I've had stitching months like that, and I just go with the flow. Every stitch done is progress made no matter what. Love the progress you've made on your wips; the neverending black on Book of Shadows would be a great one for when you're meeting with friends, just fill in so you don't have to concentrate. Was wondering what fabric you're using for the Tiny Modernist Stitchy Goddess? Such a lovely blue. Also, I didn't know the Patterns Online files worked in Pattern Keeper, would love to know how you got them in please? I'm excited about the TVS Christmas Village. Have the Christmas Tree Etui kitted but need to get this month's challenges done before I start it. I've been wanting that Wrendale kit for a while, but I didn't know that both colour options came in the same kit! I want to do the pink version :D I know what I'll be adding to cart come pay day lol I didn't used to be good about noting down when I stitched something, what it was and who for but now I make sure I record this information. You can even get little stickers that you can stick to the back of your framed stitching to record this information. I agree it's important to record this info. Hope your daughter had a great birthday, she will treasure these cats for a long time :) Have a great stitching month Racheal!
@Thestitchbirdsnest4 ай бұрын
Thanks for taking the time to reply twice lol Yes the black on the book of shadows is a good one for when im meeting up with people for sure! The fabric for tiny modernist is one i dyed myself, it was really simple and i videoed the process on flosstube #3. The patterns online worked in PC stitch, I thought I had corrected this in the video, but it sounds like it didn't work, sorry to get your hopes up!

Great to spend some time with you tonight Racheal, good progress on your projects. Happy birthday to miss 10 and loving the cats. Great idea to add the date and occasion the cats were stitched, it will be good memories for her in the future. I'm excited about the gingerbread house, just sourcing fabric (possibly from Catherine and country stitch) and I will get it started. Love that you have all the heartstring sampling designs, they are pretty awesome. Take care and happy stitching 🌷 🌷 Take care

Thanks for watching, yes im looking forward to starting the heartstring samplings patterns. I sourced my fabric from country stitch, i got the speculaas fabric in opalescent. I'm just waiting for it to arrive to see what its like. I'm looking forward to getting starting too!

Hey Racheal! It was great to meet you in person at the Bowerbird meetup last month :D You've made a lot of progress on your wips, and agree it's sometimes hard to recognise just how much. These days I've taken to photographing my progress each day and uploading them so I can see side by side comparisons. Really keeps me motivated. Loooovveee your new stitching chair! What an amazing find :D I've also been umming and aahing about which Chatelaine to stitch. So many amazing choices, but because of the cost investment, I am taking my time to decide. The last thing I want is to get the kit for one and then find I don't like it! Looking forward to seeing which one you choose to do. Have a fantastic stitchy month :D

Also thanks for the tip on how to know if it’s been played with, this will be so helpful and I’m not an embroiderer. But I will be able to utilise it in ‘other areas’ hahaha. I watched your flosstube while working and I giggled outloud when listening to Alison Cole's comments about playing with it and being stiff or limp, haha very funny. The fabric you dyed for stitch Goddess is adorable, I love it. I definitely need to get back to dyeing some more fabric again. You may have inspired me to do that lol. Appreciate you sharing your own medical ailments causing you to be off work at the moment.
