Great video. 🔥💯 I have one unrelated question though. You’ve mentioned before your second channel and that you don’t want it mentioned here, but I NEED to know what it is if you could reply and then delete this or message me or something. I’m 92% sure I watch your other content. 😂

What i did was buy a 4700 gph 12v pump then bought a vertical float,12v marine battery , pipe fittings, and a trickle charger. Now i have a 12v backup in case my main pump fails to pump and also acts as an emergency pump if power goes out. Under 500 i made a complete system. 🍻

Why don't more people do it? Because regulations make it not worth the investment. The rules are crafted to protect the public utility companies and maximize taxation and the homeowner has to accept the loss.

doesn't the wind turbine just spin without a load attached to it? i mean you can switch it off the circuit just like solar panels, afaik. both will have open circuit voltage present, but no load so everything is cool
@EmergencySurvivalTips

I actually don't know where the energy goes if it doesn't flow somewhere. It has to go somewhere. I think the magnets in the alternator style generator would heat up maybe? That would be bad. I've heard brake failures on wind turbines can result in fires so I assume the energy turns to heat somewhere.

Man, your hatchet rant reminds me of a community post on firearm channels on "its the apocalypse/zombies are at your door you can grab only one item, which is it?" It would list a hatchet, a handgun, a rifle, and one other option depending on the post. I see way too many people choose the hatchet because "you can build shelter" (as if that wont take a lot of time and energy), "you can chop fire wood and whatnot" (as you said, can't burn green), it doesn't require ammo (needs sharpened and takes YOUR calories), or because its quiet (yeah sure, but also melee and can get stuck). Yes it is nice to have a tool/weapon, but I really would underestimate having that range advantage. Sorry for being slightly off topic.

I originate From Texas, but I settled, then retired in Thailand after 37 years. My Lao-Thai wife of 32 years has refused to get rid of her 30-year-old restaurant fridge. We have had several restaurants, but no more. So, I found a Kw hr. meter, plugged it into the fridge for 10 days. The 10 days totaled 154 Kw Hours! As my technical Thai language is crap, I had our 2 Thai American sons explain that her fridge consumes 1/2 of our $200 electric bill and it is getting worse. The rise in our climate is getting worse as well. Once I get it turned off, I'll run another test and let her see the difference.

@EmergencySurvivalTips
@EmergencySurvivalTips Ай бұрын
Probably exactly like you said. Run the generator and get the highest amp battery charger you can then charge it during the day, after turning off the inverter, and run it off the battery at night. Or park it every night somewhere with a power outlet and just plug it in.

A sabot is the plastic casing enclosing a slug for rifled barrel sluggun...the slug you showed was just a regular "rifled slug" its called that because the rifling is on the slug itself (less accurate, acts like a knuckleball floating every which way)...a sluggun has the rifling in the barrel (way more accurate grouping is tighter, can even put multiple slugs in sams hole)...slugguns are only for sabot slugs only, birdshot will damage the rifling in the barrel. Shooting a sabot slug thru a smooth bore "shotgun" will act like a knuckleball and float everywhere...right slug in the right gun will do crazy damage at 200+ yards (sabot slug in a rifled barrel) a rifled slug out of a smooth bore will be lucky to be accurate that far out..."right round in right shot/sluggun can do just bout anyhing you need it to" is what I live by

Wow, I haven't seen those with 20 parallel cells. With so many paralleled cells, a short will have the potential to burn the whole thing in seconds. Could you imagine putting cells in, and when you are up to cell #19, you suddenly put cell #20 in reverse by mistake? High-tech fireworks I would call it, lol. About charging to the weakest cell in the pack, it is not completely correct. The weakest battery will not have enough power to raise the voltage of the others enough to make the circuit "think" that it is fully charged, precisely because it is the weakest and all are in parallel. The more cells in parallel, the less possible such behavior is, and the voltage level will remain average among all cells, slowly rising up while charging. Remember that the only way for the circuit to "know" is the voltage level. With time, a damaged cell will also be a hazard. The current of all parallel cells will drain into any single cell with leaks or a short, making it extremely hot until it bursts, making it a real fire hazard. That is why, for example in my eBike, with so many parallel-series cells, each cell is protected with a fuse. Also, cells are spring-connected, not welded. First, movement may cause sparks under high loads, and second, high loads may heat the springs because of the natural resistance of spring materials. All these scenarios are worse if the cells have high-discharge capacity, like 10C, 20C, etc. Interesting video though. Thank you for it :)

I should make a slight correction that the blue kit completely failed testing in multiple ways. It required sort of a "jump start" to operate correctly. Adding batteries live caused an unusual burning smell. It just wouldn't operate consistently or turn on charging when the button is hit. The red enclosure was AMAZING in testing though!

Where do you recommend purchasing these small set-ups ? Also can I buy AC charging battery packs ?
@EmergencySurvivalTips
@EmergencySurvivalTips 2 ай бұрын
AliExpress or ebay are the best, unfortunately. As for AC charging ones, they drop to DC anyway via a transformer but none really come to mind. Just get a mid-level USB charger cube that only does 5 volts, not fast charge, and then get that $18 xtar charger and just plug the USB into the charger cube at the wall.

I used to vape a lot (to quit smoking) and 18650 batteries were used in the vapes. Not every battery is made equal. You can pay extra for higher quality batteries but i assume the difference is minor if you're just powering a phone charge or a light.
@EmergencySurvivalTips
@EmergencySurvivalTips 2 ай бұрын
The big thing with vapes are running several hundred watt coils and that's hard to do at 4.2 volts. Those Murata batteries can do like 50 amps or something ridiculous like that and low end, off the shelf ones can do like 4 amps sometimes. Well 4x4.2v = not a lotta watts. But for 22 watts of fast charge using 8 cells in parallel, all adding amps cumulatively, you can put basically anything in them.

I'm firmly convinced that the solar panel producers have the entire youtube community paid off. If I drive through the surrounding countryside here all I see are wind turbines, yet nobody can say a good word about installing a turbine. The amount of fear mongering utter bullshit is astounding. Can you recommend an inverter for use with a deep freeze (compressor) so I don't burn it out. It's a 10 cu-ft R600 that draws 1.4A/130 W. Don't want to break the bank. If it has a volt meter built in to monitor the battery that would be a bonus, but not required.
