Not to be too critical but how is driving down the main road really showing what the campsites look like? Its just a typical road in AK which I am sure most of us know or can envision.

Camping here now in sites 1/2 and having a wonderfully secluded time. City water available to fill your trailer in the upper section (sites 1-6).

That house across the street that's where I live and there's a small campground down the road I slept in a tent there for two months last year

You should have taken a right at the tee in the road, it would have accessed the gravel bar at the turn in the river, all you got was the parking lot at the boat ramp.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Peaceful, beautiful with some trails leading to the Tonsina River. Be careful, there are ALOT of moose in the area. The bathrooms were not clean.

So I guess the campgrounds are along the gravel road? Nice video of the road.

Stayed many a nights here! Blast into Valdez early morning, skip the afternoon madness at the fuel pump in Glennallen.

What do you mean by dispersed?

I remember this campground well. We spent many a wonderful week end there with friends and family from Homer and Anchorage both. Music around the camp fire, boating and hiking.

Try when it's not raining. That made my eyes water just trying to watch it
