Love the vid and "why so long" is a great question! Long story short, "Impeach the President" is a song made by Roy C. and The HoneyDrippers. The rights to the song were stolen from Roy C and he had been trying to get it back for years, up until he died in 2021. So they feel that they can now sue for use of the sample now that Roy C. is no longer here to fight it. What some don't know is that the sample is the just the drum pattern, and it is one of the most sampled songs and has been used throughout different genres. And, that being said, I wouldn't be surprised if more of these lawsuits started popping up.

Normani, Normani, Normani.... I have been interested in hearing a complete body of work from her for a while now. There are probably several things going on in the background that has delayed the process of the album coming out. She is talented and is a joy to watch perform. I know she has that special spark and that is what draws people in. Unfortunately I think the general public has kind of lost interest due to the wait between singles. In the pop music world things move extremely fast and if you don't move when it moves you can get lost in the shuffle. I wish this wasn't true but a lot of good artists lose their momentum due to how the music world works. I will listen to her when the the album comes out for sure. I hope she will be one the rare cases where it just all works out in the end. Thanks for posting this and keep up the good work! 😊
