I totally agree 👍 Indians had a hard life~~To even survive through the winters took preparations that most people today do not have the integrity to do so! From the Rising Sun ⛅️ to the Setting Sun, the Indian peoples worked very hard providing for their Tribes.

what i can't understand is 20 years after the 'end of civilisation ' how these idiots had not figured out wood drying and storage, tools, bows arrows , spears , snares , foraging , growing crops, keeping animals , fixing a roof , making/finding clothes , fixing a roof , making an oven , making a forge , weaving . It seems to me that they have spent 20 years doing fuck all.

I'm just really in shock that this was also something that happened in the 1800's. Iron Eyes Cody was the first one to be exposed, then Sacheen Little Feather. And more recently Buffy Saint Marie. And all I can do is try my hardest to trace my roots here in America as earnestly as I know how, without falling under the pretense of being someone I am not.

Beautifully and sensitively documented - well done Noura! I am also the granddaughter of the Genocide survivors, and found the stories you lived and uncovered to be deeply moving.

I watched this video because of another celebrity who posed as a Canadian First Nation, Buffy St. Marie. Grey Owl was fortunate that he was not exposed during his lifetime like Buffy was. Although I don't approve of Grey Owl's numerous wives & alcoholism, I do praise him for being great actor & writer. Buffy's life as an imposter was a bit less colorful but she played the part of a very successful First Nation entertainer for 60 years. I felt bad that folks saw fit to expose her because her ruse didn't really do any harm. I admire both of them for being willing to learn a lot about the First Nation culture & to assimilate with them.

I tip my hat off to him ,, he did something that no one cared to do , so what if he disguised himself as something he was not ,, but perhaps he was more that than anything else ,, he loved nature and it's true people ,, that is how we should be and should of been in the past instead of robbing the land and wipe out as much of wild life as we could get away from , why, and people of it's rights to exist ,, now look at us ,, ungrateful bunch ,, the earth is being destroyed because of blind and selfish people ,, do people love anything ,,, perhaps not even themselves , because they think they must survive at all cost , even if it means that at the end ,, their children will die because of the shortsightedness ,, have we learned anything from this man ,, NO,, and I hate it when I see people going off hunting just for a dam trophy or even worse when I know they already have their freezers full,, why hunt ,, now we see animals on the brinks of destructions and even extinctions , some are already gone never to come back, why ??,, but does anyone stop to think of that ,, of course not ,, because they think that nature is out there for the taking even though they don't really need it ,, we should be ashamed of ourselves for being so selfish and heartless ,, were are all our animals ,, ???? more people should be like this man , ready to fight for mother nature and respect our natives ,, what have they done to us for us to treat them so bad ,, God told us to look after the earth and the animals,, but we have decimated it , why??
