been using a 2600MM pro since they came out..... I found that so long as I dither I PERSONALLY have found no reason to spend time capturing darks (EVEN if it's on a cloudy night its still taking time away from something else I could use that time for ....). flats and bias 100% yes...

Help, I have watched your videos several times, and have downloaded the Ascom software, but I cannot find the launch button. There are several Ascom buttons all with differenct names but none launch the actual window. I do not yet have anything connected to my Celestron but am a little frustrated that I cannot see the same window you can. I am obviously not doing it right. Please advise.

Who the heck powers their focus motor with a cigarette lighter plug. And what is that plug size on the other end of the cable? That cable is just plain dumb. Primaluce sucks, and yes, I did buy one, and thoroughly regret it. I ended up using a ZWO EAF, and everything works right out of the box, so all is good now. Anyone want to buy an unused Sesto Senso 2. I'll give you a real good price. 👍

Hola, Hope you don't mind a question from a beginner. How is it possible to platesolve with a dual narrowband filter in the imaging train. I turned the gain up to 350 and exposure15 seconds. Still very few stars on the laptop screen. If I platesolve with no filter,no problem. I put the filter back in when everything has started and the scope is guiding. Are the end of the sessions I haven't had enough stars in the images for Deepsky Stacker to process. I guess my 7nm filter is blocking out the starlight. Done a lot of research but still no wiser. Need the help of a knowledgeable person. Many thanks

Hi, this video is fantastic, your calm manner makes it so much easier to do. I do have a question, every time zwo update the asiair app, I have to run through most of this process again as it doesn't let me just add the updated asiair file to my temp folder - I can see in windows subsystem for android that the app is in a folder but it always shows the out of date one until I run the whole process again - Is there a way to just download the apk file from ZWO then add it to the widows subsystem for android app folder? There must be an easier way Thanks Richard

Great review can I ask what dovetail plates you are using with the keystone riser blocks please? Did you have to modify the plates for the riser blocks to fit? I need 350mm dovetail plates but Altair have no stock so was maybe going to try another brand with the keystone riser blocks Thanks Paul.

Great video and easy to follow, Thanks for sharing. You may need to have the Asteroids box selected as well as adding the custom xeph files. It may may not find all the asteroids. I had some images of (694) ekard I tracked with Tycho Tracker. Pixinsight would not find it until I checked the Asteroids box.

My pc had a few different screens and ways to enable things etc but it works - very impressed :)

Can you adjust the dew heater voltage? I have 5V USB dew heaters but I wanna replace ihr USB plug by an 12V DC plug. But if I plug it then into the 12V it will be too much. So I need to reduce down to 5V. So is this possible with this Powerbox? Thanks

I've always thought that you astronomers have always had big "communication" problems with other human beings, you probably think that all other human beings are born already learned. If in your opinion this is a tutorial for beginners, I, who have been trying to learn for several years, took me 4 hours to understand what you were doing, also because there isn't one of you who has the same settings. Anyway, I'll try to start something, if I succeed I'll thank you.

True one probably doesn’t need darks with these cameras but easy enough to build a library all on auto with NINA taking darks over your usual exposure times. Saturday afternoon would probably do it. Even if only 1% gain, why not?

These small jumps in the footage are very annoying. however as usual Great video !!!!!!

Hi Hogarth, great video and detail - recently purchased one and this was a fantastic intro. I have a portable power supply - can you recommend a good cable/adapter for the car cigarette lighter port? FLO don’t have any in supply and I’m reckoning a good cable to carry 12v/10amps is needed. Cheers.

I orgionally tried to load BlueStacks and then ASIair but couldn't the APP in Google PLay. Then I found your video and have it up to the point of downloading ASIair for android, but the download has it showing it is a bluestacks application. I'd love to use ASI air without bluestacks but feel this is going to disrupt the flow. Great video
