Jonathon would you name a few brands of buzz baits and spinner baits that you use?
@ChemitasFishingКүн бұрын
I just scored some 1/8 oz. Buzzbaits that should be fun 😅 thanks for the info much appreciated JD 🦾🙏

Do these baits/methods apply to ponds as well??

I used all these tips and MORE. I fished at my lake for 9 hrs. It’s is 60-70degrees. I caught nothing. I had one bite on a frog 🫠

All I throw is a teckel kicknocker a Megabass giant dog x and a OSP louder. These are the only top waters you need I catch fish on these baits every time I go fishing.

Sometimes if I’m feeling experimental I’ll drop shot a NED worm like a brown green pumpkin or any natural looking color and it works shockingly well I fish for smallies and there main forge where I fish for them are gobies so I use a color that best represents there colors

Zman trick shotz have been awesome for lake st clair, at least for largemouth in the rocky shallows!

I wonder how a little liquid mayhem or pro cure on the split tail can increase the bite. Curious what kind of spinner you use that has a keeper for the elaztech split tail?..

Catch’s fish for sure but the magnet is a complete gimmick one or two fish in and you’ll blow the harness out the belly and lose the magnet

My biggest problem fishing the fluke is my arm getting tired unhooking all the fish I'm catching. When I need a break I switch to the square bill...never worried about catching a fish on the crankbait.
@trentfranks45077 күн бұрын
The rubber peg would be better used putting a stinger hook on. Mike Iaconelli has a vid showing how he adds a stinger to a fluke when fish are short striking

Bro, this is a $75 glide bait! You could get the $60 SPRO KGB Chad Shad and it is the best glide bait on the market. I recommend the 7 in. Berkley Nessie for $10.

@rexgaming_501st38 күн бұрын
Fast. But it’s all relative to be honest, the lakes I fish have been super slow recently and I’ve resulted to slowly dragging finesse jigs.

@@rexgaming_501st3 I've only caught panfish on worm in my area. Everytime I target bass I get skunked
@mal.8145 күн бұрын
@@Owlstronauttry using small baits on 6lb line. You gotta slim down the line to make it easier to cast the lighter bait. That's what i do when the bite is slow.

Burn that jerkbait year round. Baitfish are still smaller or bigger, but y’all just don’t get the fall changeover that we do further north, they’ll be feeding all winter for you bud!

Agreed. I use a 7’6” medium heavy with 50 pound straight braid. I rarely ever miss top water strikes. The only time I ever have issues is when they’re short striking, but I’ll usually switch to a sub surface swim bait at that point.

I use the 6th Sense Panorama as a trailer and another one nose hooked with a screwlock in the nose for the trailer hook to go thru... Man o man... You say something about a bait looking like a school of about 3 or 4 little shad grouped tightly together... wow!!!
