This game was ahead of its time. Decent graphics, tough gameplay in higher difficulty, had the flag system, penalties, proper pit stops with stalling even, and safety car, which was a big one and was not there in any other future F1 games until 2011.

Nice run. Believe it or not, the same track time and speeds can be reached without smoking the tires. You have to be in the correct "groove" on the track. Of course, proper can set-up is crucial.

I remember playing this game in the living room and sunlight coming in through the porch. It was an eerie feeling. It was like a deep mystery was unfolding, like someone of importance died and this was a commemoration, or that the world was about to change.

That game was very easy, I was capable of winning the Championship with a Prost Peugeot with the more difficult of the levels for AI. Is that serious? I do not think so.

As a kid in the late 1980's and early 1990's, I took a lot of shit from other kids in elementary/middle school for liking bands/musical acts such as Roxette.
