If you get bumped hard enough, I think you take massive wave damage or something. This happened to me before after being bumped low on health after doing a Hubac contract.

@@reaver357 you’re askimg me during season fatigue 😅 Much the same, but the buff to long guns and culverins is nice, and no damage reduction anymore. But still have 90% repair kits at 40 sec cooldown with Dark and Stormy drink buff :P

Having two successful boarding hooks land but turn into muskets or he opts out of PVP as the hooks land is even more irritating :P

Move any loot to warehouse, keep 2-4 food buffs you actually use, hot key Enhanced Repair Kit 1, 20-40 stamina foods, 15-25 water flasks, 5-10 water barrels. No risk of losing anything you can't afford to lose. Join PVP events and hope for the best.

@@LordCarmesimXXVII Rhapsody is a great counter for flooding builds. Pretty much immune to severe damage. I wanted to try the flooding build on the Brig with Springloader.

@@adambutkowski9368 I was quite lucky with Lestari, got 3 of them during the first week after the drop fix. Medicine cabinet I got two of. Both Lestari and La Pete has seemed pretty decent drop rate for me. Cursed Banner is truly a cursed item for me. Must've done tons of the contract but not a single drop. I got one Tuning Rack, after about 20 tries. I've stacked about 30 more of the chests since I needed only one. Will be fun to see if they up the drop rate when Season 3 comes and I open them all. I consider my must lucky drop besides this one, to be two Secret Cache from the summer regatta race. But after doing more contracts after 2.2 update, it appears I was just super lucky with the Zamaharibu one. Drop rate doesn't have seemed to change at all.

I had a blast with that fight, so much fun. So much chaos, almost boarded, a whole lot of escaping and re-engaging. It reminded me of monitoring angular and transversal velocity in EVE Online :P

Is that your take from reading the patch notes? They will nerf Black Prince and fix the damage mitigation bug of the Spirits Locker and food. So I think weapons will end up being stronger. Also they will probably buff culverins and long guns.

@@LordCarmesimXXVII Super excited for next week’s patch, and even more so Season 3 with new blue Culverin, Purple Long Gun and Bombard (teased from the Steam trailer). Really curious about the Culverins. But yeah, come next week, PvP will be a whole different ball game, I think. Just hope the BP nerf is more than reducing it to 40%.

@@magsical The patch seems that will make the brigantine the best ship again. If they make the Sambuk weak again I won't be playing a lot more of this game.

@@LordCarmesimXXVII Naah, I think it'll be more leveled. We'll see what the new/adjusted perk will be. Sambuk's strength doesn't lie with damage reduction anyways, and a nerf to DR affects all ships. Fight's will just end quicker. In terms of L9s, they were never affected by DR, although I can see a concern if they make Long Guns all deck, but I doubt they'd do that without adjusting Mast Breaker.
