Would like to see it shell some beans that are green and not dry because green ones are much harder to shell as I’m sure you know…

do you sell plans/blueprint for this machine ? Thanks
@oldtimeway13 жыл бұрын
I watched your butter bean threshing video. I guess I don't understand how the butter beans get out of your round metal basket and end up falling below as the butter beans look to be bigger than any holes in your rat wire.
@andrewspivey3 жыл бұрын
They're close, but still smaller than the holes in the wire.

Nice machine! Could you give any info on the big pulley bolted to the drum? Where did you buy it? Would it have a specific name?
@ellismidkiff61172 жыл бұрын
V belt pulley. I don’t know what size but there are ways to calculate the size you need based on the motor you want to use.

How does it work on fresh beans the demo was dried beans just wondering thanks
@andrewspivey5 жыл бұрын
Works just fine. I had to run it a little longer, but the results were just as good.
@stefano50805 жыл бұрын
Great job! Does it work with fresh peas or it breaks them?
@andrewspivey5 жыл бұрын
I'm not it would work well with small peas. I would probably have to change the screens to finer weave. I did try some purple hull peas last summer and it worked pretty well.

james Lundy Sorry, but no. Look on KZbin for bean sheller videos from Cecil Ray. I didn't follow his instructions exactly, but took most of my inspiration from him.

Sorry, didn't go by any plans specifically, nor did I write any down. I drew most of my inspiration from some videos posted here by Cecil Ray. Look for his bean sheller videos - he goes into more detail.

I like what you did there. I'm doing something similar with mine- Wanted to know exactly what components you used on the inside. What model Pyle amp is that, do you like it, how much power, etc.
@andrewspivey7 жыл бұрын
Thanks ! I used a Pyle PDA5BU receiver w/ built in amp. I bought it because it was cheap, but mainly because it was the only receiver in my budget that would fit inside of the console. I don't recommend it - leaves a lot to be desired, especially the bluetooth. The speakers are Micca MB42. I ran some 16 ga speaker wire with banana clips between the receiver and speakers. The receiver has a separate line in, so I bought a better bluetooth hub and ran it into that. It works better, but the crappy receiver still produces noise. I the receiver has a 200watt amp. Price has gone up on amazon since I bought mine.

i have a cub that i use for my yard chores on my 2 acre lot, im not into buying a sub compact, well i have any early sub compact it didnt cost me 20 grand and has a whole lot more prestige. i will say i love cubs in general but it seems like you have enough property to need a bigger tractor. maybe a farmall H or an M
