But it’s not the original Cavern Club. That was destroyed by the railway company for an air vent!

I tried to book a ticket for this stadium this year in August. Every week they told me I couldn’t and had to wait until it was announced. I told them I wanted to book the August 31 night as I was going to Spain for a long time and couldn’t go on any other night. With a week to go they then told me the fixture was cancelled. So thanks very much for nothing, when I come back to England next year I will not go there, instead I will go to Peterborough who don’t treat people do badly.

That's so cool, I've always been fascinated with stories of William Marshall, born and raised in the midwest of the United States literally down the road from where Jesse James is buried but always preferred medieval European history especially Knights like William, oh and God bless the Queen may she rest in peace 🙏

Good old Grandad Bill, most of us in Britian are descended from The Marshall, he was the Great Great Grandfather of Robert I of Scotland (Bruce) and something like 75% of us in Britain are descended from Bruce, I have 8 separate lines going back to Marshall. He was a quite extraordinary man and a good example of success through merit even in a society that didn't encourage it.

Thanks for posting 👍 I'll be at Oxford 🐆 vs Poole ☠️ as I am a travelling Pirate ☠️ Looking forward to going back to Sandy Lane, 2005 was the last time I went. Such a boost for speedway to see a club reborn & not lost to those structures made from bricks & mortar! Well done to all at Oxford 👍
