Infact our current rails do have capacity to run 200+ in full throttle but are optimised to the speed of 120kmph. Vandebharat or shatabdhi kind of trains are exception to go 160+ only on few areas or length. @@bhatusonawane7054 no man, technology is available. See most of the Indian trains like Vande Bharat can’t be fast because of our bad tracks. Need to improve tracks before introducing fast trains. If these trains are like RRTS that is fine because they build new tracks. But if you want to introduce high speed trains and want to run all over India to replace old “Dabba” trains then they need to change tracks.
