I can clearly see why you want to do it, the Caponord hand guards are bigger and better. However, there are two companies that make an add-on for the OEM, it is tinted and cool looking but it costs $100. Not sure what the Caponord hand guards cost.

@@motorcycletrippinnews I hear that the Dorsoduro hand guards fit as well and there are a couple of companies that make them in Carbon fiber for about $160. hehehe, just saying.....LOL

Do you know where the alarm system is installed in the V85TT? I would like to add a remote control without having the original (original remote got lost) and I think for that I have to access the pins of the alarm system. Do you know the procedure maybe?

From the manual it looks like that is a case of taking the alarm unit, or the bike, and new fob(s) to a dealer for the alarm to be reset and new remotes added.

Is the alarm standard? I don’t think I have one on my V85tt.

As @Stimutonic says it is an extra that we ordered with our bikes. The only minor issue is that you only get one remote with the alarm kit.

@@motorcycletrippinnews I’ve bought a second hand 2019 V85. I think it’s the urban version (because of the side case, and mid standard). If I’m right there also should me an alarm on this version but the shop I bought had no keyfob or anything. Is the a way to see if there’s an alarm installed without the keyfob? Is the maybe a connector or something or a light in the condo?

@@Reboot27 The right hand side of the instrument cluster should have a single red LED if there is the alarm fitted.
