BS‼️ This is not a natural rock formation. If you look even closer you’ll see the area around the rectangular hole has also been perfectly leveled. Mother nature does not cut perfectly rectangular boxes with sharp corners. It’s obvious this was created by the hand of man. Good grief Charlie Brown.

ok ok ok so I kinda had a bad idea. what if we put industrial scale solar powered dehumidifiers scattered about a couple miles away and piped the water condensate half to local water treatment, half directly to mississippi river.

Sorry to burst your conspiratorial bubble guys - BUT - CLEARLY it IS natural. Look carefully at the long edges and you can see the natural fault lines in the rock carried on way past the seaward end of the cavity. The whole district is riddled with fault lines of which many are perfectly parallel. Possibly the sea has eroded the rock under a large slab which was originally on top - you can clearly see the undercut around the cavity . Once the cavity had eroded underneath the slab, it merely collapsed into the already created cavity below ?

Wrong those fault lines are just other examples of quarrying
