I first saw Book OfLove when they supported Depeche Mode on the Black Celebration Tour in Europe. I was blown away, came back to the UK and bought all their albums. I only wish I could have got to see them again whilst in their prime. Still love them now and my top 5 songs are: 1. I Touch Roses 2. Sunny Day 3. Modigliani 4. Lost Souls 5. Sea of Tranquility If you've never heard of them, I suggest you listen to an Irish Elctro Synth band called Tiny Magnetic Pets, very much in the similar mould as Book of Love.

I saw that tour as well at Wembley Arena. I'm originally from Dorset, but moved to Southern California 34 years ago. But I'm not sure if I arrived late... but I really didn't pick up on them until Modigliani was played in Planes, Trains and Automobiles. I've seen them several times over here in the States. Thanks for the Tiny Magnetic Pets referral... just went down the rabbit hole listening to them... I love their Ghosts Again cover. I see they've toured with Midge Ure and OMD before... but doesn't look like they've made it State-side. I'm seeing OMD again in a few months for the Bauhaus Staircase tour here in Chicago (where I now live).

You'll love this Bauhaus Staircase Tour. I was front block at the O2 and it was awesome, especially with Howard Jones supporting. You'll also note that Sunny Day was played in Silence of the Lambs, when Lauren Roselli was in the coffee shop talking with Clarice. I think you should definitely listen to TMPs Blue Wave album, it's great. They're making a new album now and Gareth Jones formerly from early Depeche Mode albums is producing it. Enjoy the OMD show mate.

wow! This was the first band I saw back in Houston, TX when I was 13 years old. Well, my sister saw them and I had to tag along. Anyways, when she started signing, tears of joy slipped my eyes and I got goose bumps.

Gregory - We didn't know they were touring either. We just happened to be on the Facebook feed for this New Wave Bar in Bellflower and it came up on the feed. My wife and I are huge fans. She had seen them a few times before (including touring with DM). But it was the first time for me. It was excellent... and as you can see it was a very small venue!

@RocketRodder SFMM considers Revolution to be a moderate thriller at 55 mph and with one inversion. 58 mph and one inversion suddenly makes a coaster serious? the number should be based on the max/least g-force the rider experiences. Even though this ride has no loops it ranks the highest among my favorite SFMM rides due to how many g-forces you feel on this, the best part being that short kids can also face their fears on this. lol no one did anything to scream during the hill...
