I've had this song on my phone for a while now, after finding my old collection of "anime songs" on a portable hard drive I thought was long-lost. Along with heaps of other songs from my teenaged years, this song is now safe and sound, never to be lost again. Forgive the story telling here, I've got something warm share. When I heard this song again after many, many years, I KNEW I had heard it before, but just couldn't figure out what episode it was. I found a comment here on this video (after the song got stuck in my head) which led me to find the Battle Frontier episode "Time Warp Heals All Wounds". Sure enough, the song plays towards the end! I now remember this episode, as Battle Frontier episodes played repeatedly on Cartoon Network here in Australia. I have a lot of nostalgia for Ash's adventures in Hoenn, and though it feels and sounds different, I enjoyed watching the episode even now. It still makes me smile. The episode was different to the usual "filler" episodes of Pokemon too, in that the plot was dealing with death, and birth, and somehow, time travel. And of course, it included a song, which isn't very common for Pokemon Also, May's Eevee hatched, which was a pretty important moment. Given how much I loved the 4th movie, I'm surprised I didn't also remember much of this episode, featuring time travel. Anyways, that's enough storytelling, I just felt nostalgic and appreciative is all.

This song, this CD. My childhood. I’ve played Pokémon since I was 5, in 2007. I recently found this CD, and after listening to it broke down in tears at how beautiful these songs are. This song in particular has such insane punk rock vibes. I love it. Pokémon is the greatest gaming phenomenon ever created, and although the newer games can never compare, they are a way to introduce the newer generation to something so many people hold so near and dear to their hearts.

In defense of the Hoenn Pokérap, I actually know a guy who pronounces it as "Groo-dawn." I don't anyone who says "kee-oh-gree" though
