This is the bag I wanted, but I bought the smaller one with oversized hardware a few years ago. I couldn’t find this bag, and now I guess I’ll search it for resale because it’s so pricey now.

Thank you for the chain storage tip using a seat belt cover. I’m going to try it on my (new to me) reissue 224 mini! If you still have the bag, how is the structure holding up?

Glad the seatbelt cover idea helped! I don’t have my Gabby anymore sadly but I do have a reissue in the size 227-I think it’s a fabulous bag and it’s one of my most used! I think a better choice functionality-wise than the Gabby :)

The small size DOES have a front pocket. All the pandoras do. And it is a very spacious sized front pocket. ❤

You can remove the strap. I removed mine because the strap is very thin, and I replaced it with a thicker black leather strap that I purchased from coach. It attaches to the bag in the same way as this strap does.

I don’t know the exact dimensions of the MacBook Air but you should be able to fit it in the City bag as it is very spacious. But I think you’d probably need to leave the top unzippered, and that could potentially scratch the MacBook. I’d worry about the MacBook a bit because this bag is so unstructured that it would likely be jostled around.

Aww...sad about the Balenciaga, babe. I've personally just started falling in love with the classic Cities and purchased a Mini a month ago. I'm at least a decade late jumping onto the bandwagon lol! But I get it. You've enjoyed the bag to its full potential and now it's just time to move on. Hope you find a good home for her soon!

I still think the Balenciaga City is a great bag, the minis are so cute and I LOVE the metallic edge version! But I think I’ve just outgrown the style, I know someone else will love her like I have! Sometimes it’s not a bad thing to be late on the bandwagon, you get to learn from everyone else’s experience!!

I would say that it does, in a way. The two compartments allow you to fit and organize more. But because it’s shorter in length it won’t fit a small phone, unlike the baguette!
