The day of judgment is decisive and displays to all the seal of truth. I like this sentence: "The righteous is not afraid of anything when he is pursued." I think so too. But my friend asked me: how about Father Abraham who feared for his life, even without anyone threatening him, just because he assumed people will want to take his wife, so he lied twice and got his wife taken away from him. Isaac did the same. Also, how about Jacob who feared his brother to an extreme point, before and after his immigration. Also, my friend asked me, can we say that Father Isaac was an evil man?! Because the word רָשָׁ֑ע actually means evil. She also asks, how about King David who pretended to be crazy to deceive King Achish of Gath because he feared for his life? How about Moses who run away fearing for his life when the Jewish man reminded him of what he's done to the Egyptian man? She thinks that if we take this proverb seriously and apply the standards properly, no one would be righteous. Is she right? If not, how can I answer her?

Divide the pride

For years I've been struggling with why would a loving God want us to fear him. This explains so much. Christians aren't taught to fear God but we are being taught to fear a life of sin that separates us from the God that loves us! I've never heard it explained like this. Thank you! Also saying what evil is, according to man and according to God helped so much.
