I do not understand in 2023 that people ask how to do something with KZbin, I don't get it. I haven't seen a hair salon in 8yrs which saved me a lot of coins, btw, your hair looks beautiful I'm on the color too.

Adding my 2 cents : Moisture retention which aids in length retention; less mess during and after doing your hair; no alkaline coating on your scalp which causes itching for many ppl.

Nice to see that you are making videos again! Do you still do yarn twists?
@shakes_4 жыл бұрын
Love this. The explanations are clear, and it was at a great pace. I do want to say that there was emphasis on twisting each piece in the opposite direction to incorporate the hair but you actually twisted them in the same direction and then proceed to twist using the opposite direction. Just clarifying!

So glad I found your tutorial! Hunny!!!!! I am in the boonies and my hair is breaking because I can't do a protective style at my length. But you just saved that. I had some yarn lying around and tried this. It worked Perfectly! Heading to the store now to grab the colors I want!

I'm almost ready to try this on my daughter and I'm so excited but also nervous!! Thanks so much for this tutorial. It's the best one I've found by far! I thought of some questions. How long do you keep the yarn in? (just noticed below you said 4-6 weeks. My friend said she left them in for 4 months lol. What happens toward the end of the 4-6 weeks?) Also, I heard you say that you blow dried your hair and I've never done this on my 5 1/2 year old. Does this straighten the hair some to make it easier to work with? Any tips or specifics on how to blow dry the hair? My daughter has a really high volume of hair. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

I just saw your video tutorial of the yarn braids and I fell in LOVE! I want to do it to my hair but I don't have a lot of hair and I'm not confident enough that they will look good on me... I think I will look almost bald with a couple of locs 😅😅... Can I still do it if I have thin and little hair?
