@@RACERMIMI1320 Ah shoot. If it’s not turning off that’s because there’s debris or sediment caught up in the cartridge. You’ll have to take the cartridge back out, clean it really good, turn the water on while the cartridge is out and flush out the shower valve really good, and then put everything back together.

@@xofbob if you have a double hung window where the upper sash moves like the lower sash then it comes out the same way in this video. If you have a single hung where the other sash is stationary, it would be best to hire a window technician because that’s a more advanced project and if you don’t reinstall the window correctly, it could leak and damage the wall in that area.

Hi, thanks for the video. Question: I used to work in the apartment industry for many years. I’ve been out of the industry for over a decade and I mainly worked on traditional ac units and furnaces. My wife and I purchased a new home in 2017. In that time I’ve had to replace at least all three of my zoned damper motors. Those Honeywell motors are not long term. But my question is: I have one of those Honeywell whole ventilation units on our unit. It’s set to on. I’ve never messed with it. I was under the impression that when the unit is calling for cool or heat it’s sucking in air from the outside like you stated and pressurizes the home. But looking at its damper it’s not closing in what I would expect a reasonable time after shutting off letting cool out. I’m assuming it should close all the way and the zoned dampers open when none of the floors are calling for air. My question is: could the vent damper not working or does it have a certain amount of delay after satisfying the thermostat(s) so it closes? It’s also not fully set on the thumb switch which adjusts flow. It’s one or two. We live in Atlanta so you know we get our fair share of heat. Thanks. Edit: just for clarification my system is a heat pump. So I’m just making sure I’m not messing something up by shutting it off or affecting how it purges.
@BJPoznecki
@BJPoznecki 26 күн бұрын
@@GartheKnightReturns You know, I’m sorry we don’t have heat pumps here in the Chicagoland area so I’m not familiar with them or if the system operates differently with the heat pump. If your system is the same that you see in this video when the switch is in the on position whether the thermostat is on or off, every hour for about 10 minutes. It will turn the blower motor on open the fresh air damper and bring air into the home. Override will keep the system on and the damper open 100% of the time. Off, turns it off 100% of the time and closes the damper. With the hot and humid you guys get in Atlanta I would just turn it off during the summer months and turn it back on in the winter or when you have mild temperatures in between 50° and 75°. Hope this helps!
