Shame we'll never know what happened to the actress who played Liz. RIP.

I remember watching this in 2007. So good. This has to be one of the oldest videos on KZbin.

The scene with Liz having a bad vision, almost had a Tim and Eric quality to it.

The fact the tombstones move in the wind amongst everything else about this scene/part 3… incredible comedy. Sadly goes over so many people’s heads.

Oh I thought this really was old tape. I think this is the first time I've been fooled. I guess 2004 was a standard def era and *is* 16 years old, making this literally old taped footage...

My brother brought the DVD of this for a Christmas gift for me. He figured that because I’m a fan of Ed Wood (the worst movie director), I’d love this. He didn’t disappoint. Thanks, Alan.

They really should resurrect this in a 'modern Doctor Who' style, with Garth having somehow become an all-powerful Russell T Davies/Steven Moffat type showrunner since 2004 - and given a blank cheque by the Darkplace fanboys now running C4 to dowhat he likes wit the cult fshow's format. Really looking forward to the new novel in November, BTW.

I think the best follow up would be a terrible hour long pilot for a remake of Darkplace that’s just an absolute mess of a legacy sequel

There's so many subtle pieces of incompetence: - Garth types with two fingers - the King Lear quote has a page number, not a scene/line number - the door to the children's ward doesn't match the next shot in multiple ways - Garth doesn't leave Thornton's office via the door. It must have taken real effort to get this so spectacularly wrong.

I think they borrowed the "missing TV series" thing from an obscure, Polish-produced Sherlock Holmes TV series, the episodes were not aired until some 20 years later due to their producer really bending the rules to get money out of the government to fund the series as a piece of "cultural theatre". Yes, a real Dean Learner.
