In all honesty, I love, love love your talks and ideas. I am a woman and you are 💯 tick. Unfortunately I am divorced. I gave my husband all the respect, I was earning more than him but not necessarily a lot. I let him use my cards to pay what he needed and when we were out together. He turned to drinking and Gambling, I realised everything was gone when I was pg with my first born. We discussed and I worked harder 😢. He promised to change. I only found myself physically battered for going out on my day off when our child was one year old. I left that house with totally nothing the next day. The rest is a story to be published. So, men can feel insecure and turn to distraction without saying it.

Origin of Hypergamy... India is one of the few societies with a historical Caste System. You could only marry within your caste. Hypergamy was a way for the man to rescue a woman by accepting to marry her despite her inability to match the demanded dowry. Its women who pay dowry in india. In modern times, Hypergamy curve is highest in urban areas and among 22-32 year olds. If you watch 15yr olds in love, its as pure as it can be. Infact, a 15yr old in the rural area has lower hypergamy than the man. That shows that its more sociological than biological.
