I was gonna say... He looks like he's lost half his body weight

Being super technical is amazing but sometimes the music can suffer. Never was the biggest fan of his music.

Just like Aretha Franklin’s singing can sometimes come off as cacophonous on certain tracks, where her powerful voice might feel overwhelming or harsh to some listeners, Yngwie Malmsteen’s music has a similar duality. While Yngwie has crafted many great songs that brilliantly showcase his guitar virtuosity and melodic sense, he also has moments of self-indulgence, where his shredding and technical flourishes overshadow the song’s musicality. This particular song, unfortunately, falls into that latter category, lacking the balance and taste that make for a truly enjoyable listening experience.

I see Yngwie a few weeks back, it was great, but my goodness is he sloppy AF anymore at times 😅

Those drums sound like garbage. Great playing by Yngwie though.

Yeah i saw him a few weeks back, and everything was way off. Drums too loud, Keys almost nonexistent at times, Ynwgie too loud or too soft at times. It was a weird concert audio wise, especially with no dedicated vocals. And as much as I'll never be able to play like him, i do wish he'd at least try to be a LITTLE less sloppy at times 😅 there were literally parts where i was like "wtf are you doing dude" haha

just a bunch of damn noise....no soul, no emotion whatsoever.

Until you can play the same notes, you can’t comprehend how untrue that statement is. It’s hard to sound like Yngwie even when you can play the same lines note for note.

Yeah ok lol meanwhile: arguably the world's greatest guitar player, Guthrie Govan, calls him a "real guitar player" amongst other niceties.... but I'm sure you're just so good your opinion actually matters more😂....
