Is the meta data for plex and the docker container in appdata running off of a ssd cache pool or off your hdd pool array? I've heard plex meta data is faster on a cache pool but no one explains how to set this up on unraid.

Hi there. Thank you for watching and the comment. The easiest way to do this would be during the initial install. You would just point the "appdata" field in your Plex Media Server template to your SSD/NVMe drive. This will install Plex onto that drive instead of the default "/mnt/user/appdata/plex" location. In my case, I have my appdata shares primary location as a seperate appdata_cache pool where all of my containers are installed.

Thumbs up for the video ! Still useful :) After few hours, I had a nextcloud notification indicating that "Onlyoffice server was not available". In that case, I need to go to the settings, and just click save again on onlyoffice configuration. The docker container on unraid was running the entire time. Did you already encounter such behavior ? Thanks for your time

in Emby you can select to remember last login, so no re typing in user and password.

Thanks for the comment. And yes it does. But for some reason, it wasn’t really consistent. I’m sure it’s probably due to either the TV app or my firestick but it wasn’t consistent. However, YMMV.

Just commenting to say thank you! I was pulling my hair out trying to figure out how to reverse proxy filebrowser in docker. I started with ibracorps videos, but they have like 3 different videos about reverse proxying with nginx and all the information is scattered across like 3 different videos. This video helped me a lot and I finally got everything up and running with a domain I bought through cloudflare. Subbed and thanks again

appreciate the video, i am getting an error when installing the linuxserver version of nextcloud that reads: Can't start Nextcloud because the version of the data (28.0.1.1) is more than one major version behind the docker image version (30.0.0.14) and upgrading more than one major version is not supported. Please run an image tagged for the major version 29 first.

I have a current PHP83 file. Followed the instructions, but it didn't work. It still has the default when I go to the system settings. I reset the docker as well. Anyone have this issue?

Why CF and NPM ? Why not just use CF Tunnel and achieve the same ? Any cons ? With that no ports need to be exposed .

Thanks for the comment. That's a totally fair question. I should have said that this was one way to do it. CF tunnels was just coming on scene and honestly, I didn't know too much about it but I knew how to do this. Also, at the time, hosting your media server over Cloudflare Tunnels was a breach of their Terms of Service. But all of that has changed. For full transparency, I've switched to using Cloudflare Tunnels and stopped using NPM. As a matter of fact, I'm actually using both Cloudflare Tunnels and slowly moving things on to my own Tailscale network. Awesome project.

Hmm I can access my content and thumbnails of plex server but can't access the video thru browser nor thru roku. I copied files via smb share to unraid nas but apparently my plex app cannot access those video files in the shared media folder. Happen to know where I should start with that?

When you say you can access your content and thumbnails of the Plex server, but you can't access the videos, are you saying your Plex Server is showing the titles and poster in your app or browser, but the video isn't playing when you tell it to play the movie?

I followed this guide and got my Nextcloud hub 8 up and running on my local server :) I had the bad gateway 502 issue at first. To resolve it, I went into the docker tab in Unraid and restarted both MariaDB and Nextcloud. Thank you so much for the tutorial and I like the music!

Hi! excellent tutorial. love your vids btw. Super helpful. However, nothing happens. After making the changes within the php.ini file, nextcloud still sees my memory limit and upload max size as 512MB.

I just tried it and can verify that it does work if you have php8.2. I pinned his comment to the video. But thanks to @g00lux: Navigate to the /etc/php82/conf.d directory. Modify the configuration settings in the nextcloud.ini file. I hope this helps. Thanks again for watching.
