Apologies that the quality of the video isn't exactly the best. My videos from a few years ago didn't exactly have the best quality. I had to download the old videos from KZbin onto my computer & that reduces the quality even more.

Both are retired now 86-0031 was the penultimate KC-10 to retire on September 5, 2024 & 79-1948 was the last to ever fly and retired on September 26, 2024.

Is it within the airport terminal or outside the airport? Please clarify if a similar shop is inside any terminal. I'll be travelling to Hannover via Amsterdam and looking to buy an airplane model as a memory of my journey.

There used to be lights on the tail of those KC-10s and DC-10s. What happen?🤔 Also, the flashing strobe lights, on the wingtips at dusk, gives it that "airline" look. Tony, an old school guy

Thanks for the video Samuel. They're quite rare at GLA these days (videos I mean). I'm always surprised at what easy work such a big plane makes of landing and taking off on a not particularly long runway. Do they have to restrict the load? It'll be interesting to see if the A380 remains on the route when flights to Edinburgh resume in November. Maybe they'll use a Boeing 777 after that. One interesting detail is the de-icing fluid trailing off the wings as the plane accelerates to take-off. Thanks again and keep up the good work!
