We've done a reasonable amount of mudbrick building just a querie . Wondering why aircrete can't be used as load blocks?
@WhatDadIsUpTo13 күн бұрын
For thr record, liquids and solids do not burn. No exceptions. Ya, I know gasoline and magnesium each "appear" to combust, but the true combustion elements are gasses.

Nice. Been studying this aircrete for a while. Could you use hay instead of saw dust? Might that work? Thanks for your work. Blessings!

Imagine just the amount of steam going into that fire the water flashes to steam and expands 270 times so you essentially have a 2500° you have a steam cleaner built in to your fire. I have to go now and research your channel to find how you built this stove. I’m new to the rocket stove world.❤️🔥🙏🏼🇺🇸

You have to really really really really really really want to build a shed out of aircrete to tolerate all of this sort of mess and work.

I 100% agree with @believeit3203! You are a saint and a gentleman. I will be able to afford to do my own aircrete now! I was so impressed with your video, I immediately ordered the plans. I could have figured it out, but you deserve at least the $30 for the plans since you did me such a great service! I can't wait to make it and start making bricks!!!

In trying to research the viability of an aircrete hack with little success, I ended up here with you. My hope is that you or one of your readers can help with info or where I might find it. I have a stick built house with T1-11 for siding. Is there any way I can use aircrete as stucco on it? Do I need another vapor barrier? How would I make sure it stuck? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Great Video! And I though I seen them all! I never noticed her wood cook stove before. I Love It! Me and my Mom were talking about them on Thursday. Y'all have been on my mind alot! Praying Y'all are Safe and Healthy! And Praying about your "stoves". The boys are so little in this video. I bet there as tall as Mom or maybe Dad now. I sure did think about that river this summer! It was so nice! And driving up and down the sides to and from your home was just Beautiful! I really enjoyed my time there! Wishing you all a Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃🦃🦃🦃🦃 Oh, BTW, this video popped up in my feed, I didn't search or anything! ✝️🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤❤❤☘🤗🍍😎

But why? Using rockwool or glaswool batts would be easier, insulate better and be better for the environment.

Good info! Especially if you go and price what proper refractory bricks cost. Heart attack stuff! Your comment about safety is so true. As a rule many only learn AFTER something goes wrong. I vividly remember the first time I used a plasma cutter on steel. So "proud' of myself! Gloves...and a pair of those slip on ankle height safety boots. I "forgot" about Murphy Law of Probality! Guess where the nice big FIRST blob of molten steel ended up? Yep.....into the boot on the side of my ankle. 😆😁 Talk about some fancy RAPID dance moves??? Talking loudly in a "strange" language?? Was a sight to behold....😂😉

Happy days!!! Got me thinking about all that cosy heat and energy. How about some copper tubing inside that chimney linked up to a gravity fed watertank? Hot showers when needed? How about a nice pot of slowly simmering hearty soup or stew on the flat surface above the burn chamber? A "PERMANENT" big pot of coffee??? Also note that the cat does not seem to mind the stove....at all!! Wonder why?? 😊😁

I'm thinking of making double wall with 3" and 5" pipe using the 1" thick insulation material that comes in a roll. I would have to open up the 5" pipe along the seams, and just put the 3" wrapped in the insulation, and seal the seams back up. I have the aluminum 3" handy.
