The only bit I found too gruesome was the plastic surgery during the title sequence and towards the end, in swimming pool. Shalin - is she a robot? (final scene). Parker admits his real age at the end. How to tell him where his mum is? Those security people. Why does no one expose their faces? Otherwise, a good film.

Hi Darren just watched the Christmas special. I absolutely loved this series. It was fun, touching and very warm. I agree with you my only slight nitpick was that Helen had nothing to do this series. Tristan was sorely missed last season for sure. I also loved Richard this year too. My favourite episode of the series was the snake episode. Good review.

Tried too hard to be Die Hard, but fell way short for me, too far fetched, and comedic moments fell flat. Solid 5/10 in my book, wouldn't add it to my Christmas movie list.

Keanu Reeves, where should I start??? Hmmm... I have almost all 40 of his movies. No kidding... You being a male it is hard to pinpoint which movies to pick. But, I must say, I place them in several categories... If you have not seen 47 Ronin I suggest that for you... He is a tremendously great actor and has so many genre's to pick from.. I just finished watching this movie with my girl. This was the worst “scary” movie I’ve ever seen. Where did the parasites originate from? Why couldn’t no one stop it? Shit was so ass; do not recommend👎🏼

Just finished watching this movie a few minutes ago. The practical effects were great, the atmosphere of the film was good, the look of the teddy bear was creepy as hell but that was pretty much all I liked about this movie. The creatures didn't make sense to me, why did they have to wait for the mom? In the beginning of the movie why did the guy shoot the woman? How many creatures were in that one teddy bear, had to be a few in there. Why did it take months for it to start infecting the family? How did the mom become addicted to pain pills, what was the deal with her Cererian scar? Too many unanswered questions for me, and a very under used Dee Wallace! I give it a 2 out of 5.

I find myself appreciating this more after some thought but it does have its shortcomings. I will watch this one again.

Solid review man, I feel similarly to you about the film though I had a couple nitpicks with the story and handling of certain characters but overall it was a fun time for sure. Also you have a nice speaking voice.

From the list you provided, I would say my favourites are Before Sunrise and Jumanji. I would actually place Before Sunrise at number 1 as I personally feel it was the best movie of that year. Its also one of the movies I feel is timeless. Some of the other movies were good during that year, but feels a little dated when I watch it now.
