教本にそう書いてあるだけなんですわ居合腰だって何をもって居合腰か分かってる人なんてほぼいない（膝が曲がってりゃそれでいいと思ってる所ばかり）そもそも最初の抜き付け斬れないし、これだと（二刀目と違って無音=威力皆無）マジレスしてもしかたねえのよ

Alternatively, like what Ogura Noboru Sensei would do is shift the whole body rearward while keeping the normal nukitsuke at play. 🤔

I showed this video to a newcomer so that he has a visual sense of the kata and to keep him motivated in his first steps. Keep note that we are in a third world country, where every item related to iaido, from basic equipment to learning material, has to be imported and therefore nothing is too affordable. If I had the privilege of being personally acquainted with Kaneda Sensei, I was simply using my time training harder.
