Nice. Swinging oboe too, often described as ‘an ill wind nobody blows any good’ but not in this case. 👍🏼

Hah! Didn't think you'd get through all twelve keys, but you nailed it! And... b) using the metronome on beats 2 & 4? Genius!!

This is fantastic! I find using hand weight to play some of the more bluesy licks helps to get the feel.

Good afternoon Janet, I wanted to comment. I have learned the 12 major scales. Hanon's first 20 exercises. And he was doing the first Beringer exercise. I've been here for a year and a half and I'm 57 years old. I'm learning on my own with KZbin videos, I don't know how to read music. I have seen these exercises that you propose. I would like you to please give me some advice on which videos of yours you recommend. Or any advice that you consider can be useful to me in this learning. Thank you so much. Greetings.

I really like that 2-5-1 exercise Jan. I'd love to take something similar to the Rep Club if it's ok with you. Great video!
I never know how long to let it ring out at the end - it is so glorious just to sit in the overtones as the piano resonates, but it is not marked up with a pause so I think it is probably meant to just end.... but I like swimming in it for a while :-)

Lots of great content here. I had a teacher year ago that had me take through every key each motif of the Bach fugue I was working on. And, yes! By the time you can do that, the original is a piece of cake.

Nice use of the whole range of the treble register on your solo!
