'Serenity Prayer' God, grant me the serenity to accept the thing I can not change ; Courage to change the things I and Wisdom to know the difference. Living one day at a time ; Living one moment at a time ; Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace ; Taking as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I Would have it ; Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will ; That I may be reasonably happy in this life ; And supremely happy with Him forever in the next Amen

Why play, with church bells, a Song that invites you to imagine a world without religion? a world without heaven and hell? that's disgusting nonsense!

@quwers It quite clearly is a religious thing; do you honestly think that churches "just happen" to put bells up for your own personal enjoyment. More fool you if you are enhancing Christian worship and giving glory to God without realising it. And thank you for so doing, of course.

Some comments seem to be under the impression that the bells are being rung "full circle". In fact they are being chimed, a very much easier process for sounding tunes on bells.

You have a point about simplification. My art teacher always told me that simplicity is more complex than complexity itself. The problem with art is that right now, we are leading into an era where technology and art fuse = technological art. No one really knows where it is headed and why. When you fuse technology and art, certain human senses are in use more than others. At times, hybrid senses are formed, for example, moving a virtual object using a motion detector - no physical contact!

Subjectivity means that something is influenced by opinion, feelings, etc. So, if you are the artist and you decided to add red to the corner instead of green, you have just made that decision based on your opinion/feelings which is subjective. Same thing applies to art critics and viewers/audience. There have been numerous attempts to make art objective, such as, Minimalism. 1 + 1 = 2 is objective, because the answer will always be 2, even if you introduce your opinion/feelings.

not sure if im gettin my point across (for a person fixated wit simplenes XD) i think ART is REAL SPECIAL but not special enuff to not be able to describe it. its here. it has a presence. also art isnt da same for all of us. i realy dont get some splatters that ive seen but some are interesting they just have an appeal, it sparks something in your head. but art always talks and talks because we have a goal in it even if we dont get it. :)
@dreadedhalo

hah! haw man!, im not even sure what subjective means when speakin bout art. i looked at da dictionary and still couldnt get my shit straight heh. but is that bad? art is there, it exists and it has something to say even if art wants to express nothing it'll still be there, cus its known to exist, so it CAN be described. ps. im the type of person that loves to make things simple and not too complicated to understand. if u have a diferent view then by all means my man, i wanna hear'em :)
@Cr3ativity
@Cr3ativity 14 жыл бұрын
Basically, you are stating that art is subjective?
@dreadedhalo

how bout ART as the collateral equal of our minds just trying to land feelings into wattever plane we wish. since the goal is to just express something / it
