THANK YOU (I felt I had to shout out my gratitude) I have been wondering about this tent for ages, but always assumed it would be too short. I am the same size as you, both in height and in the size of shoes, so this was immensely valuable. And as a metric user, feet and inches is just fine, ref the b!tch below who lacks common decency :) Thanks again, and I hope you have a great day

You are very welcome! It's been a great tent over the years and I'd still highly reccomend it. Cheers!

Great review, loved that it was very short and concise, and I liked the interior camera angle. Very helpful for a proper size reference.

Thanks for the review! How has the tent been for you size wise? I'm 6'4 and wonder if the tent might be a bit short.

I'm 6'3 and it's fine for me. You'll probably be somewhat close to each side, but probably would have a little bit of room yet to spare.

@@bidufree sure thing. I've had this tent out on 10+ weekend trips on the Appalachian Trail and I'm really happy with it. Bought one for my brother as well, and he has been pleased. You can easily spend 3x on a tent, but I really like this value. If it does get abused, or ripped, it's easy enough to just buy a replacement. Happy trails!

Omg!!! Can you not??! The constant crackling in the sound is actually really irritating!! Plz do better audio!! It's really not good!! And also, WHY are you not putting info if measurements in kg and cm?!?!? I absolutely hate when ppl don't do that!! It's really inconsiderate of your viewers!! Not everyone comes with understanding the st##pid imperial system!! Next time just put the no's On the screen plz!!

Wow. Thanks for the valuable feedback.. 😂. I'm not a professional youtuber, just put this online in case it was helpful for anyone since there was a lack of information when I purchased it. Did you know that the internet has websites that allow you to convert imperial to metric? 🙄. I hope you have a great day!

@@DangerPath2427 ok. You don't need to be a professional KZbinr to make great inclusive and thorough videos. You could have done the proper research and either say it out loud if you cannot put it on the screen. It means that you are aware and considerate that not everyone who watches you are from America. Quite and oversite to think everyone knows pounds and feet! Don't you think? It's very simple to just add it to your content. Shoving it onto your viewers to "Google" it (oh wow, never heard of such a thing, but you don't seem to get the principal!) Only shows that you can't care enough and put work in our hands! The last thing anyone needs is to stop the video go on Google and start searching!! Waayy too much effort yes!! And inconsideration!! Assive pet peeve!

@@bluebellcrushedvelvet tremendous apologies to you and the entire world for sharing my video. I now see the errors of my ways after reading your enlightening scathing comment and realize that sharing information in a manner that is offensive to you was a deplorable act. I shall hereby refrain from sharing any additional content as to refrain from upsetting all fragile viewers. Your grief and wokeness has not been discounted. I wish you all the best in your future viewership of KZbin videos. If I can be of service by watching any videos in advance for you, to consider both the audio levels, balance, background noise as well as the type of unit measurements, I'd be happy to do so and can provide detailed technical analysis so you can make an informed decision prior to your viewership commitment. @@bluebellcrushedvelvet sorry bro, I NEVER use the metric system. A bit selfish of you to not spend 3 seconds to do a conversion. It took me 3 seconds to convert 4lbs to 1.814kg, probably a solid minute less than it took you to write a paragraph of complaints...

@DangerPath24277 жыл бұрын
Matthew Sargent I have only had it out in a light drizzle so far, but I anticipate it will be fine with heavy gusts and rain. It feels really solid when I tug on the interior when it is all staked out, and the design should allow it to perform well in both.

I recently had mine up in fairly windy and wet conditions in the Lake District - absolutely fine, bone dry and stable. There were a few bigger tents and gazebos on the site that failed that night. Wind was steady but gusting around 30 mph (according to the met office). There wasn't anything happening that caused me any worry about the quality of this tent. When I was leaving, it was raining heavily so I packed up everything inside in the dry, removed the inner and packed that all away dry. Then I was left with the outer, poles and mat which I loosely shoved into a shopping bag. I was moving on to another site so it quickly dried when it was set up again. I really don't have anything bad to say about this tent.

I didn't bother since the manufacturer lists everything on their website. With everything that is included it weighs 2.053 kilograms / 4.56 lbs. You can pitch it in a few configurations (fly only) if you want to shave off some weight.

Hi. There is another storage compartment (about eye level when sat up) at the 'head end'. Also useful to know you can put the outer up first, then put the inner in place from inside the tent - which is handy in poor weather.
