What she does not say is that if you have 100 items for sale that cost $317.00 and you sold all the pieces for $500.00 making a $233.00 profit now you are out of product so you have to buy more inventory we will say 100 pieces and then you take the $233.00 profit - $317.00 to replace the 100 pieces and you are in the hole $84.00.

That is a gross profit. Costs to ship the jewelry, let's say $40 and there is an opportunity cost. But if one is ordering 100 pieces there is no shipping charge from P (no shipping for orders over $100 dollars which is less than 100 pieces.) and 10 free pieces does compensate for the shipping charges. Now if you have a live sale and sell 100 in a night which is doable in say 2 hours so not a bad payday. The real income comes from selling several hundred pieces a week and from having a team of MANY so one receives an override from those that are active and ordering.

So If You pay 100 dollars for 33 pieces of jewelry and get 45% commission Your losing money. Let's do the math 33 x 2.25 = $74.25. Your already losing $16.75
@queenchica6623
@queenchica6623 5 жыл бұрын
You buy the jewelry as a consultant for $2.75. You sell it for $5.00. So if you bought 33 pieces as a consultant at the rate of $2.75×33= $90.75. You would then sell at the rate of $5.00×33= $165. You would subtract the $90.75 you paid from the $165 you earned and your profit would be ($74.25). You would charge your customer shipping and taxes as well. You would charge your customer a transaction fee if using credit card or PayPal just like they would pay any vendor if their order is not at the minimum amount. You also can decide to add those cost on your business taxes if you want. There is money being made with Paparazzi.

I joined 1 month ago. $99 Starter Pack got a cute box with Everything I needed 2 start jewelry included about $140 worth. I literally took the box 2 work, got on the floor (nursing) sum1 Noticed the box & curiosity got it rolling! I sold everything in that box except 6 pieces but I made my $99 back & a profit! 1 nurse told another person & I'm now on my Second order. The jewelry Isn't Crap anymore than the $5 jewelry u buy at the hair supply store or Walmart! The difference Is it's Lead & Nickel Free so it Doesn't turn on you. Do you wear Walmart jewelry in the shower, 2 play basketball or sleep in it? Most likely no it's Costume Jewelry & as Any business you get Out what you Put In. I plan on going big cause I see potential & I'm driven. Good luck 2 all that try👑🍷

I agree. We got this as a side business actually for my 12 year old to make money. She sales to her friends at school and is saving the profits for college. I also have a few coworkers that buy at this point I wouldn't consider this a main income but starting early to save for college can't hurt even if the profit is small. Even online sales from family out of town go straight to her savings account. Side note: we only sale to family/coworkers/friends. So we dont have to worry about booth fees or shipping to people.

I sell on eBay and make much, much more than selling this, not worth the time and effort, not enough payout. My profit margins are pretty high and I can easily make $200. In an hour not days. You need to prepare a better presentation because you omitted alot from this video, the profit you mathematically showed is erroneous. This video is dishonest and proves exactly why these MLM schemes are predatory, dishonest. It also supports why not everyone is cut out to “be their own boss”. You are assuming that all your stock will sell, and unless you’re peddling yeezys that’s just not going to happen. Have you seen it happen at multiple online parties? Perhaps, but I promise you those people don’t have that success every time and many get stuck with stock that no one wants to purchase. Additionally, (probably due to the lack of financial training provided by this company), you forgot to subtract from that $200+ profit your costs and taxes. Aren’t you also encouraged to do a lot of giveaways to get people buying the products? If you do an in home party you have to buy food or a tank of gas to get to your location. Now that $200 profit shrinks to maybe $100 and it took you a month or two to achieve. This video is misleading.

I sell Paparazzi, I started with the largest kit and IF you’re consistent you will sell and make your money back. I do a lot of events in my area, and surrounding areas, and I’ve made over $900 at some of events or $550, $150, $200, heck even $50 BUT if you don’t reinvest and BUILD your inventory from the beginning you will not have customers for long, or profit, Period. Nobody wants to see you at the same event or party with the same exact pieces as you’ve had every other time.. Paparazzi actual website releases new jewelry every Monday-Friday so you should be selling and then adding new fresh pieces . You have to do parties, events, etc in order to show NEW faces the Jewelry, make the money, & you can grow your business... and tbh the 45%/55% is a good rule of thumb.. so you’ll pass that breaking even point IF you’re consistently selling. I started off with 200 pieces now I have over 600 on hand and it’s because I’ve reinvest & built my customers base because I have NEW pieces coming in. You can’t get upset if you’re not making money because you decided to not step out your comfort zone and sell the jewelry. There’s money is this, you just have to work it ☺️, like any other job out there. This biz isn’t hard at all. Don’t over think it , just get out there! Brand yourself by stepping out of your go-to market (family, & friends) and build your business, but you must reinvest in the beginning.. and a little secret you won’t have to as much once you have a great amount of jewelry on hand that you’re comfortable with 🤷🏾‍♀️ plus people can shop from your free website that paparazzi gives you as soon as you sign up and you can make money there too, but the majority of your business will be cash n’ carry, which means if you want to be the absolute best then you need on hand jewelry. This isn’t like Mary Kay where EVERYONE has the same exact inventory, you need fresh pieces and if you’re not willing to sell to actually make money in order to reinvest some then understand that’s not the company’s fault. For those that are interested I do have a graphic that explains the reinvestment with each starter kit

@jess_bounce

Let’s just make this REALLY simple. A consultant makes $1.83 per piece sold. If a consultant buys in groups of 10, she makes $2.33 per piece sold (Because of the free piece thrown in for every 10 purchased from Paparazzi). The $2.33 per piece does not even include the shipping, gas, and time costs incurred by selling and distributing what you sell. So minus that off each piece. If you are considering getting into this scheme, consider how much jewelry you would have to sell to make it worth it. Also, it isn’t risk free just because you can make a profit. Otherwise every business on earth would be “risk free.” Risk free would be if you could send unsold jewelry back to Paparazzi for a full refund. A consultant takes a risk every time she buys jewelry from Paparazzi b/c there is a chance it won’t be sold, and the consultant just eats that cost. Don’t use terms you don’t understand, and you clearly don’t understand what “risk free” means.

@dickgoezinyah
@dickgoezinyah 5 жыл бұрын
You say there’s no risk because you at least make back your money. That’s assuming people actually want all 100 pieces. I spoke with a woman in our area who is huge in paparazzi and does it full time. She lives and breathes her “business” and has a bunch of people under her. She told me you “Never. Ever.” sell every single piece you buy from paparazzi. She estimated she gets stuck with about 5-10% of her inventory. She also said newer sellers get stuck with a lot more-sometimes more than 50% of each order but they have to keep ordering more inventory to stay “active” and because a lot of the stuff is seasonal and you need the newest stuff if you actually want to sell anything. So let’s not forget that on your 100 pieces if you get stuck with 10 pieces no one wants to buy, that’s $31.70 you need to subtract from your profit. If it’s 50% that means you just got stuck with $158 of crappy jewelry you don’t want and just spent all month hawking jewelry day and night for a whopping $25. If it took you 40 hours of networking, facebook posting, selling live on facebook,, talking to co-workers, selling at craft fairs, etc., you just made about $3.90 per hour on the high end and about $0.62 per hour on the low end.

Dick Goezinya I agree. I was wondering what the profit is on a piece of $5.00 jewelry. It’s worse then I thought. I sell jewelry -higher end jewelry. Making 2.00 on one piece of jewelry and having to put all that time in is not worth it to most. You do have to be a real hustler at that profit margin. I see people on fb selling all the time and now I’m actually feeling bad for them. I don’t want to comment on the quality. Some pieces looked very nice but reality -what quality do you expect for $5.00. I wish everyone well with their paparazzi sales. I give everyone a lot of credit constantly going live on fb
