Im looking at getting one but leaning towards the plain steel 41mm Submariner as its almost half the price and looks easier to take care of.

Would it be too small/short of a band for a larger person? I’m 6’ and weigh 285lbs.

IMO, Orient is always a guarantee of quality and class. 22 mm bracelet is perfect for me, it’s for those that love presence of important bracelets and it fits the case very much. I totally hate rubber aftermarket stripes, so this bracelet is a huge treat for me.

what's the point of comparing watches, when you don't have a scale to measure the accuracy of both watches. That's the only important thing in this comparison, everything else is just a matter of taste.

I Ike the vanta black but no fly adjustment , no half links and only 50m water resistance means I am looking elsewhere or wait for San Martin to catch on . Specs need to improve

I have a rotary regent skeleton face, had it for two years now and it now has sentimental value to me. So annoyed I missed out on this special edition version of it, if you would be willing to sell to me I’d be all ears 😂

Cheap movement, wait hear me out. For the price it's OK but the plastic parts in the movement and awful bracelet are a money saving exercise for Tissot. However the 36mm quartz seastar 1000 has a top of the range quartz movement and can be had for £280 (first class watches). The accuracy is around 1 yes 1 second a year and a long battery life. I know which I'd rather have.

i have 3 Glycine, and they all have crappy lume - at least compared to my other divers like Seiko, Certina or Citizen... Lume is Crap - period 😊

Longines lugs killing the deal there, i'd go for Seiko spb143 any time. Seiko is much more versatile to wear.

I like chronograph watches but the square Tag not at all, love the dial on the Omega diver,always did. Looks like u need to drop some off for service. Happy new yr.

I have a small wrist but I still lean towards a bigger watch,38 mm+. Had a couple smaller ones I just don't wear em. Interesting collection..

That's look like 20mm or 21mm not 22mm the gap looks horribly ugly.

The 40mm is still slightly less than 39mm in diameter, you would think Rolex would be able to measure it accurately considering the tolerances they work to in making these high quality watches.

Why does your Monaco not say calibre 12 below the chronograph? I have this watch and yours does not seem quite right in a few aspects . The chronograph push buttons and crown seem different also . I believe yours is a clone .

Straight forward. A collection is always individual. The pieces are too popular for me. I would prefer a Lange & Söhne, or VC. I would keep, Tag Heuer, Zenith, GS, maybe the Rolex GMT... in case of Omega I would buy Omega Speedmaster Racing.

10:00 go backwards on your Seamasters to the 2255.80. Love mine and it’s so slim on wrist. Peak Seamaster in my opinion.

You could also replace the Seamaster 300M with a Peter Blake Ref 2254.50, it’s not as shiny but wears great on wrists in the 17-18cm range

The full vintage Seamaster probably needs a service but still looks great.

Bought one today have a few of the Seiko sports 5 watches great for the price.

It not huge for me. When I used to wear Gshock most of them over 50mm.

The Tissot is more of a fashion watch as opposed to the Seiko which is more of a tool watch. The Seiko is an ISO certified diver's watch whereas the Tissot is not. So it's really about what someone wants. Seiko's watch is more of all arounder since it can be a tool watch that can be worn in dress situations.
