The BEST crew was the Body Mechanics, the floor masters had the most beef, Rock Steady had rep, and the dynamic breakers went to Hollywood. There were other crews. . The lockers from L.A. make up the top five.

This is a spin off series of SNL called The New Show airing on February 3rd, 1984. (Penny Marshall also made her only appearance on Letterman the same week.) This is Season 1 episode 4 (the only season, it was cancelled in March of the same year with only 9 unique episodes airing.)

This was actually the stage of Saturday Night Live. Breakers didn’t have much room to show off their talent. But they are warriors since they made it work!

Without the dancers there’s no reason for the music … not separable, all elements come together.
@myronsmith21142 ай бұрын
@ We brought the dancers to so what are you yapping about. Hollywood picked Puerto Ricans to feature in their movies over black dancers because they wanted it to cross over to a white audience. Black people invented modern dance , jazz, blues, rock and roll, rap and pop
@makeuthink21202 ай бұрын
@@myronsmith2114 You're the one yapping! "Hollywood" picked Puerto Ricans for Wild Style and Beat Street(a Harrry Belafonte film)? Westernized Africans invented "modern dance"? Jazz is a repackaging of Western music with western instruments. 'Rock n Roll' is a generalized term, the same as 'Pop'. In order to build you need components. There are no african components in anything you use.
