I cry every time I hear this. My mother's favorite hymn. I'm Swedish and deeply moved.

Absolutely LOVELY! My Swedish immigrant grandfather (1885-1968) sang this to my infant father (1919-2007). I sang this to my infant children I1986- and 1991- ). Dad reportedly never sang it to me or my older siblings because it wasn't cool to be "other-than-American" in the 1040s-1950s, but he bloody well remembered it. I did my best to perpetuate it. Thanks for posting such a beautiful video!

So nice to hear the english version. Though there are a couple of errors in the spelling I wish to notify for you: In swedish: "Tryggare kan ingen vara Än Guds lilla barna skara"

Thanks. I took the words from a translation provided me.

Thank you for this lovely rendition - my grandparents sang it on family gatherings and I had lost the music; glad to have the words in both Swedish and English.

Lovely music and photography. Thanks, Gayland. I knew both your mother and John Aligner. Bless their memories.
