They seem like great friends who definitely deserved it but if that hurt your wallet too much surprise them with little things

Came across this looking for student short films to learn from before making anything of my own; yours being my 7th and probably the final one for the night. Now, since you're a film student and I'm not I can't exactly give the most useful of feedback as I've tried to do so far but I hope an outsider's perspective is worth something. I really like the pacing (except maybe picking up item by item, but I guess you needed it for the reverse shots), the music and the cinematography. On a technical front I think everything holds water really nicely. I've only a couple gripes with the reaction shots, which I'm happy to see are present. I asked myself how I would react if I found a pocket watch out and about. Things such as digging around when you already see the watch are kinda non sensical, and maybe look around after picking it up to see if someone dropped it, maybe flip it around in your hand a bit etc. But that's really just nit picking for the sake of writing something. The story was nice and simple, easy to follow for the most part, overall another pleasant watch. Even if you don't decide to pursue film, I wish you all the best in music or whatever you pick up going forwards. Cheers man, have a good one!
