For right across the pond, I've been suffering OCD for over 30 years. I recently had a attack on blashemous intrusive thoughts in Christianity. All I'm trying to do is say memorize words whenever I feel it. Or hey you ignore it. Hang in there and be strong. You can do it!

Wonderful video. The sad thing is that people do think they have ocd when they are 'tidy' and 'clean'. Having ocd or knowing someone with this disorder you know that it's much more to it than that. It's the constant though of being trapped, depressed and anxious and not being able to be free, relaxed and not to worry about stuff. Amazing Dr Bruce Clark who clearly said that my daughter has OCD, depression and anxiety was the first person to diagnose her with it. Others (CAMHS) would always say she's displaying symptoms of low mood and even the CBT therapy was online which didn't really help. We are looking forward to work with professionals and waiting for the second CBT face 2 face this time. Thank you for sharing this video🩵

This is a good film but so sad because what about all the young people still waiting for treatment or who are getting substandard services?

I have OCD. I will not go into the details but it came on fairly suddenly. I did not know what it was but I immediately sought professional help. A psychologist diagnosed it immediately. I went through exposure therapy and it drastically reduced the effects of the disorder. I have also tried medication but with unsuccessful results. I was told by the psychologist that for my benefit, she would not identify herself as my therapist should we meet accidentally in public. That indicates the unfortunate stigma of mental disorders to the culture. On the other hand, every bit of my therapy and medications have been paid for by insurance. I'm not sure that would have been the case 20 years ago.

i'm 65286152872% sure i have ocd but sadly, i live in morocco which is pretty much an ignorant country about mental health. i won't be able to get proper treatment nor get diagnosed with it. i'll just keep living with this unbearable pain of repetitive thoughts and compulsions and dealing with it all alone😩

Thank you for creating this awesome video and for spreading awareness. There's still so much stigma surrounding OCD and mental health, sources of awareness like this are so important.
