Double check the mapping settings in game. I'm looking into a build for flight sim, and in flight sim you can specify if it's press or release. Lights, for example, has a mapping for "toggle lights" "Lights on" "Lights off" I can map "Lights on" to Button X "on press" and "Lights off" Button X "on release". That way it basically thinks of the switch as a key that you are holding indefinitely and keeps everything "on" and will turn everything "off" once released, thus providing a proper "on/off" toggle function.
@CodeB28 күн бұрын
On ats/ets2 it's press or hold not release

might be able to fix it via code.. thats why its better to use the types that everyone else already has been using lol. i did the same thing. waiting on all my new parts.. but im pumped hopped on ebay. saw that someone was getting rid of some open box redragon rp-01 pedals .. and they are literally clones of fanatec clubsport v3's got 2 pairs for 60$.. will get them in . fix them . get them working and then back on ebay lol. starting a repair/ fix and sell sim racing and other electronics that ive learned to repair over the years lol . but ya im not sure if its the switches or what but i do know ive had those wireless light switches that u plug a receiver intot he wall and then whatever u wanna control into the receiver.. and if u flip it on an off quick it does that. so im not sure exactly why but if it continues just get the ones people been using forever.

Do you have to put only switches or can you just put toggle switches so it could look more realistic
@CodeB7 ай бұрын
The joy controller board I use is all momentary buttons and switches. The parking brake for example come on when I pull the switch but to turn it off I have to push it in then pull it back out. It's not realistic but it's cooler than using keyboard buttons.
@CodeB7 ай бұрын
That also goes for the toggle switches
@jstro-hobbytech7 ай бұрын
The leds need 12v usually because they have internal resistors and you couldve soldered super thin wire as there is only 1 led per switch and at most they would pull .5watt of power haha. Super cool project though man. Im gonna go and harvest alot of buttons from the scrap yard so i can control everything in an 18 wheeler.

how do you have the pull switches connect to the board?

They each on there own wires pull to activate but you have to push them down and pull them out again to turn them off, on a adreno board I hear you can program it to work like the real thing just havent gotten one yet.

Not sure what you mean in the video by cutting the wires I'm talking about wiring them in to the car instead of having to have it plugged into a cigarette lighter All the time because in my car that blocks my cup holder so I will probably wire it in to the battery because I will say I have left it plugged in and running for 2 days without moving the car and it didn't kill my battery but I've also got it set up to where the screen goes off and it's still recording
