I'm sorry your videos aren't Getting as many view or likes as before, you're definitely still making great content. I'm in a similar spot, however im trying reverting to the old content thay works, so hopefully that will work for me. Not to tell you what to do, but it seems your PTV train focused content is the most popular. Yes i know that its annoying the videos people like are the ones that are the easiest to make, and the hard ones go underappreciated, but hopefully that will jumpstart your views back from the dozens to the hundreds. Of course, you don't have to change anything, best of luck to you either way.

An N set, like the ones V/line uses with their current fleet of N classes on broad gauge, but with standard gauge bogies instead of broad gauge ones. 707 ops got the N set because V/Line donated it to them because it was no longer in use after the end of loco hauled services on the Albury line. Not sure of exact date, but after 2019.

No, 707 does not own that N class. The N & P class locomotives that were at Newport open day are surplus to requirement, and therefore not used, so vline sent them to Newport along with A66 to display.

Yeah lol. Though brand new locos can cost around $4 million USD from what I understand, and they would need to figure something out about maintenance, so its probably easier and cheaper just to lease one.

The government pays for the overland as it is, and I'm not sure if it subsidizes the others. The oncosts of having locos unless you're a big company, have your own facilities, or are a government entity, would be way too expensive. As it is even Pac Nat get their broad gauge locos serviced in Bendigo by SSR and the others elsewhere.

@Comeng17 @Comeng17 I mean that I don't know if The Ghan and the Indian Pacific are self sustaining. Vline is a corporation owned by and answers to the state government. Metro is a private company contracted to run the Melbourne metropolitan train network. I don't know how other states work.

The freight trains are on the dual gauge freight lines, which connects appleton dock and the rest of victoria's freight network, so it's a great place to see freight. This was recorded a while before anything to do with the H-sets end of life so they were a lot more common.
