That's brilliant - it's 6 years since we went, but it's still very busy. When we were there we got the last spot, which was quite large, so no problem. There's a good walk to the coast from the campsite, where there are many, many restaurants - all doing "menu del dia" Have a great time - hope the weather is ok!! Cheers Brian.

Always on the lookout for mainline petrol stations. We used to fill up with the cheapest we could find - big mistake! Now we use only mainline ones - van runs a lot better. The Granada aire was ace - fantastic views from the campsite. 👍👍

They're bigger and more expensive in Portugal, with more facilities onsite. Spanish ones are a bit older, and range from the small to the larger ones. It's easier to get around in Spain, but a bit complicated in Portugal. It's a personal choice really. Cheers 👍

Not to that one, but been to Camping Puzol in 2013, Camp Almassora in 2022, Castellón de la Plana in 2019 and Sueras aire in 2020. All good sites, and should be available. ( You can see where we've been on our Tour Map) Cheers

Yes, definitely a petrol station at 3.00 minutes in. They all have 2 grades of petrol and 2 grades of diesel, and it's much cheaper than UK!! 👍

The campsite is huge, and the town is fantastic - takes your breath away. There's so much to do, you'll stay longer than you planned!! 👍

It's a great place, open all year. They recommend that you book in advance to be sure of a place - all the Northern Europeans coming south for the winter ( that would be you 😂😂)

Sites say they're busy, when they really aren't. We just pre- booked our campsite in Porto ( we're traveling in Portugal at the moment) because they said they were busy - we got here and it's half empty!! Because we pre-booked we couldn't use ACSI, so lost out on a lot of money. Don't believe all they tell you!! Weather is good with 25° plus during the day at the moment - go for it !!!

Thanks for your comment - I agree about the weather, there really isn't much to do if it rains. I don't know how they got some of the massive ones on the site - as you say, probably there for good. You're very brave walking the route - in hindsight we probably should have turned round and gone the other way. We're off to Portugal next month, I hope we can master the tolls on the motorways in Portugal - so much conflicting advice!! Cheers.

@@cervantes3715 We also popped into Portugal as part of that trip! Mainly along the Algarve but I believe the A2 is a nice route, they are doing something similar to the NC500 with recommended areas to stay etc. Toll wise, it was rather odd. We registered with the website, spent about 10 days along the Algarve, went through at least two 'toll cameras' but have still not received anything and our 'account' remains at a big fat zero, most peculiar. Whether or not we get a fine during our next visit, only time will tell!

@@DevonDevas That's great info - thanks very much. I think it's a bit hit and miss in Portugal. As Clint Eastwood used to say "are you feeling lucky" I think we'll end up with a sticker on the windscreen linked to a credit card. Definitely! We've been motorhoming for four years now (this is our second Moho) and only get home to cut the grass! (not strictly true but you get the idea). In fact, we've done 27k in 'Lottie Too' since picking her up this time two years ago, the majority of which are continental miles. Spain again for Christmas this year, next year's trip will hopefully be across to Poland and then down towards Croatia . . . .

Very true, and after Brexit it will never unfortunately. We drove on the M25 a while ago - I thought we were on a railway line - absolutely shocking!
