You probably can but I would stick with the standard antenna most likely

Thank you for the video! Just what ive been looking for :) 2 questions if you have a sec: 1. With this setup can you use any analog SMA antennas you already have for the digital signal? 2. Seems like most aftermarket o3 air unit antennas are LHCP. As long as they match the receiver can you use 2x 5.8gh RHCP antennas on the o3 with the same style SMA adapters? (I know the default is a 2.4gh rc and 5.8gh video. I dont use the DJI rc link) Thanks in advance! Excited to try this out

I have a Pavo 20 and following your indications the throttle still is very agressive.. Do you know what I could modify to make it work smooth... There is no way. Thanks... I could forward you with data about my config... I bought it on purpose for real estate, and no way to co figure it...

In the rate profile tab - Besides cutting throttle scale to 50-60% have you tried throttle expo? The more you increase the more dull your throttle stick will feel when moving it
@Moroder_Drone
@Moroder_Drone 8 күн бұрын
@@PattyFlipz I set throttle scale to 90% because if I reduce it to 50 or 60% it is hard to take off.... Both Throttle MID abnd EXPO I have tham at 0.57 Everyrthing works fine with the rates I appled, but thew problem is that it is very, very hard to keep the same flying level, Any idea?
@PattyFlipz
@PattyFlipz 8 күн бұрын
The idea is you want to tune your throttle until hover point is around mid stick (1500). And as for the quad not keeping level or bobbing up and down, it’s all about practice and more practice. A turn, going over a table, wind will all effect the drone. It’s definitely not as sophisticated to hold a hover as a DJI avata etc.

I find the real problem for every battery isn't the grip on the frame but the battery slipping out. My solution is a battery top side strap holder that sticks on to the battery and holds the strap in the right position for weight balance. It saves me a lot of batteries as most batteries get damaged when they don't stay in the correct position or slide out completely.

I’m spraying it on some new builds right now, but I won’t be doing a full test / video. I don’t doubt the product but I doubt my spray coverage technique perhaps 😂 For me, I’m personally going to use this spray as a precaution when I fly and land in wet grass, happen to fall in a puddle, or flying in rain. 👍 not flying into a waterfall, but closer to it! there are some other review videos out there already who do all the tests 👍 go check it out

@PattyFlipz if it's not certain...then the old ways of conformal coating still the best way to waterproof right? Rather then a spotty protection

Man, I wanna build one of these so bad. It's definitely my next project very very soon. Definitely looks like there's a lot of room for the flight controller and air unit without being scrunched up and packed in there too tight like so many other builds

Hey, why do you use 2inch quad for LR? As I understand you could use 4inch LR quad with the same battery but it will gives you more flight time and more power. Or it is not correct?
@PattyFlipz
@PattyFlipz 15 күн бұрын
Hi, I use to fly a 1.6” and tried to fly it pretty far without a gps, I found that really fun because it was less intrusive to the environment and unnoticeable to animals or humans. p25 is a 2.5” quad and has a nice sweet spot for freestyle performance and some efficiency for what it is. So basically it’s my burning desire to push the limits of a micro quad and see how they fare. I also have a 4” LR and 7” but it’s crazy how I prefer flying the 2.5” still. The 4” LR I have, the footage is unusable with any slight wind. 7” is heavy and takes up the entire backpack and same 15 minute flight time as p25! (With a 4000mah 6S)

Is this set up over 250g with the naked go pro? If so would you still use it for business doing real estate to be in compliance?
@PattyFlipz
@PattyFlipz 17 күн бұрын
I think this quad is around 185g with the naked GoPro . So there’s a bit of room to play with a small 4s battery. If you care about every gram being under sub250 I would recommend filming with a naked o3 air unit. Also, when you film inside and don’t go outside there are no rules with weight. At least in Canada!

@PattyFlipz
@PattyFlipz 26 күн бұрын
Hi sorry I don’t know, but with inav you can do a reliable altitude hold, or with wings I think they just fly around in circles until you are ready to take control again. In betaflight you hit gps rth it will fly home and land with versions after 4.4. That’s all I know of so far. Cheers

Hi, you can get the mount here www.protofpv.com/product-page/mrram-curve-mount but if your quad isn’t proto5 you will need to design yourself a 3d printed GoPro mount for the bottom of your quad

I have an issue with the front prints, the screws don't go in far enough so I am not able to screw the piece to the goggles. Does anyone know how to fix? Maybe something wrong with the 3D print?
@PattyFlipz
@PattyFlipz Ай бұрын
Did you try longer m2 screws? What’s inside is the internal plastic holder. (Same one that holds the antennas). But DJI uses this same plastic piece to hold the front screws. If the internal plastic antenna holder shifted somehow then it will be hard to screw them in.
