I have this room booked and appreciate you posting this. The only problem is there are 2 U90 Elation videos with 2 different cabins. I like this one better than the other one.

This one was after they did the expansion and added regular balcony rooms, what that did for this room was make the balcony even deeper. It’s a great room! Enjoy your cruise!!

No plugs near the bed just up by the counter. We travel with a long extension cord for that reason.

Yes and there is also an overhead bunk that folds down.

nice ship.....ms.fascination.....i was there in 1999 and 2011.......the home port 1n 1999 it was in san juan puerto rico and sailing in the nite.... i have a lot of memories on that ship.....good bye fascination... bye carnival.... i was with you from 1995 till 2014......

Hard to believe this ship doesn’t exist any more… went on this ship for my first cruise in 2013 just before my 10th birthday and now at age 19 I’ve cruised more times than I can remember.

We were just assigned this cabin after a change in ships. I’m not thrilled that we’re above the dining room. Could you hear any noise from the dining room?

Hi. About to book this room. Any comments/complaints? We have young girls with us, ages 2-4. How is promenade deck in relation to activities/food? How was room service? Sorry for all the questions. Lol

We love the balcony rooms on this class of ships. always something going on up at the Promenade. We don't use room service a lot so I can really help you there. We traveled many times with our kids and we typically had these balcony rooms. I hope you enjoy your vacation.

Pretty sad but that's correct. That big of a room and balcony and only two normal chairs.

You're welcome. I post these simply because I enjoy looking for my room type before I book as well so I figured I would do my part as well. Hope you enjoy your cruise when we get back to the vacation we all enjoy. I've already had one canceled and I hope that's all.

what you hear was the air conditioning. It's adjustable but I keep it on Arctic! It's a great room we love the aft balconies.

Thanks for posting this. It is virtually the only thing on google for M298. We are booked in this for Sept 2021 and wanted a look at it. Only downside I can see is that there is no shelf or counter space in the bathroom (unlike the Pride) but we'll deal with it.

Michael Williams that’s what I’ve always said. It’s basically a balcony room on a conquest class ship. The shower is a little bigger and that’s about it.

I believe that was a fueling tanker. The view is not obstructed other then that small column in the middle but if you sit forward of that it's all good. Great room!!

Pool was great weather was awesome. Enjoyed the pool cabana but it's up a bunch of stairs so not really pool side. Next time we go back I think we are going to do the Ocean cabana.

Hey Greg, any issue with the walkway on deck 5? Am I right that it ends right below this cabin? Looking at same cabin on starboard side.

I always book deck 7 since there is berthing above and below you so no, no problem with noise.

Yes after 7:00pm the area is open to everyone but I never saw it real crowed even after 7:00 pm. Sorry for the confusion.

Travelling on the Fascination July 1 to 8 to Southern Caribbean in room M253. Says it has a balcony and two pull down beds and one main bed. Does anyone know the size of the main bed? Double, queen or king? And, any thoughts, good or bad, on things to do on board? [email protected]

They call it a King but really it's two twins pushed together. It's been a while since I was on this ship so can't really comment on things to do on board. We love the comedy show!

It was very noisy between 9pm and 1am other than that very very quiet. If you need to go to bed early this is not a great room for you but if you don’t mind staying up a little bit it’s fine and the whole area is SUPER quiet and relaxing during the day
