Thanks for reacting to this! It's my favorite movie and really underrated imo. People hate on it because it resembles the original movie 'Abre los Ojos' too much, but the music, acting, writing is magnificent. The ending gives me chills every time

I have a song on my page that has a ton of references that I know many would never understand. It was more so a song for me. The first 4 bars are in reference to this movie.... Misdemeanor crimes tied with felony dues, I feel like Tom buying time for my Penelope Cruz, As I glance into the sky at the vanilla and blue, But the day I jump off the roof's whenever beggers can choose.. I understand people don't get it if they've never seen this movie but pretty sure I wrote that after watching it for the first time and it just stuck lol

@normaleehi21 күн бұрын
@ oh man you should! i watched Rad every day for a few years when i was a kid (born in '82). its pretty much the same movie as Airborne, but with BMX, which was my shit back then. It was directed by Hal Needham, the top hollywood stuntman of the time. he also directed Smokey and the Bandit and he was the character inspo for Cliff Booth, played by Brad Pitt in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Thrashin also pretty much the same movie but with skateboards and Josh Brolin. Gleaming the Cube keeps the skateboards, adds crime and Christian Slater for more of a thriller type movie. man, these movies used to get me so pumped to go out and do crazy shit with my body that im sure paying for now!

Fun Reaction! I love watching the face of awe & confusion when viewing Giliam's films. Surely you've been informed by now that the HUGE reveal you seemed to have miss was that Bruce was the boy watching himself die! And the Scientist lady on the plane would contract the pure virus and return to create the cure for those in the present. No worries It's a complex entertaining experience that needs a 2nd viewing to catch all the clues. This is indicative of the GREAT FILMS by TERRY GILLIAM. Brad Pitt was nominated! A few others of his are Brazil, Fisher King, The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus. Highly recommend!
@QuanicusАй бұрын
Yes, I was aware of the kid being an older Bruce. They sort of leaned on that clue more than others in the move. By the time it was revealed my reaction was meh, I seen that one coming. So I cut it, as for the women on the plane, I did not see it as you described. However your explanation is WAY better than what I gathered 😂
