Thank you Robina. I'm playing and recording in-line, so no external speakers are being used.

@@RonWarrenmusic57 Thanks, Ron. I'm thinking of getting the mp7se and a speaker for a small room.

@@robina9185 If I may, you should get TWO speakers so you can play in STEREO. Your keyboard is built to be played in stereo. Playing in mono (just one speaker) is kinda like taking a shower with a rain jacket on. You feel the water hitting your body, but you don't really FEEL the water. Get yourself a good set of headphones and listen to your Kawai, and then listen to it playing through just one speaker. HUGE difference. We live and hear in stereo. We have two ears. Take advantage of the true essence of your Kawai. 🙂

@@RonWarrenmusic57 Thanks for the advice Ron. I know nothing about speakers , my current keyboard has speakers built in.

I bought a used BROKEN MP11 and worked on (kawai was very helpful with parts & schematics). It is an astounding instrument and provides much inspiration. GET A ROADCASE if you use it live...previous owner did not!!!.I got it broken and cheap....agree with you don't need a band.

Yeah, if I was going to gig with it (which I'm not), I would get the roadcase AND A DOLLY! Thanks for your comment Gavin.

I find your videos extremely enjoyable - this one was very good! You made a wise purchase decision on the Kawaii - have you played with the production keyboards that do the full backing instruments / multi-tracking stuff ? You know, horns, drums, strings, yada yada?

@@RonWarrenmusic57 I cannot see any chord symbols on your tablet, but you go into each song without hesitation, and the chord changes sound great, and with a nice bass line. So I'm guessing you have a very good ear and also, maybe, commit the chord changes to each song to your memory . I'm sure you're busy, so feel free to ignore this. sounds great!

@@martinsullivan3363 I play by ear, and for the most part I play similar chord changes whenever I do the song, but sometimes I may change it up depending on how the music affects me. I don't need chord symbols except on maybe a Steely Dan tune, since they use more complicated chords. Thanks for your comments!
