I have never heard any of the bands that participated. However, based on the videos available online, Fifth Note deserves and justifies their win. (Good stage presence, booming atmospheric sound, constant interaction with the crowd through gestures, band members complimenting one another, catchy tune, a confident frontman) - Other bands had all the points just mentioned but lacked one or the other. Some people arguing that Fifth Note's music is simple and so does not deserve the win. By that logic, Dream Theater should be a bigger band than the legendary Beatles or Rolling Stones.

@john53191 but if it’s a Beat Contest Dream Theater would win.Beat Contest shouldn’t be judge based on music marketing or album sales or commercial music rather it should be judged based on real raw talent. So by your logic Taylor swift or Justin Bieber will win any beat contest because they make commercial music and make more sales right??

Hope academy band made my feet and hands sweat at this midnight hour man I'd have gone nuts if i was present in the crowd from screaming and jumping really such a talented band though they're covering some other bands song those are not an easy song and to deliver it with such confidence at this young, an ace 🤘
