I agree Emily it would be better if the tea were served plated up, it's more elegant as well as giving everyone the same choice. Useful reflections. Your evening dress is beautiful, you looked fab.

Cunard are definitely more formal than P&O but I think P&O have more day time activities. Afternoon tea when we had it later in the trip was very good for included afternoon tea and P&O don’t do that anymore. I have good food on both but I think Cunard pips P&O to the post overall

Sounds like a great trip, can't wait to see Bruges. We went last year on Aurora and I swear it was the wettest I've been in my entire life, if you'd said we'd walked down the gangway into the sea and came out again that would be more like it. I was begging at the screen for you to pack a full length poncho 🤪 I bet you had a nice day now I've said that! Going to the Canaries on Azura again next week, can't wait. Look forward to the next vid 👍

Oh no! We’ve always been very lucky in Bruges (spoiler alert) that it’s always been dry but they always say it’s a very wet place. Have a lovely time on Azura! She really is such a wonderful ship. Hope you enjoy the rest of the series 😊

@whatemilydoes it's the flight restrictions on luggage that gets us. 23kg is tricky when sailing from Barcelona or Miami!

Thank you 🙏 P&O organise it to be delivered from the airport to the ship. I would presume they offload the luggage onto a lorry and send it over to the ship 😊

Hi. How much free time did you have in each of the gardens and how long was each guided tour? Did the coach drop you right by the beach in Puerto de la cruz and how much free time did you have there? Looking at booking this excursion for my trip next year :)

Lovely tour Emily. I have sailed twice on Azura. The first one in 2010 took us from Southampton all the way to Venice and we visited Croatia as well. Pure Magic.

Thank you! 🙏 I think it might be very tight and would worry about not getting back to the ship on time. Our excursion was 10-2:45 but it ran a little late (approx 30 mins). I think we were in 8-5/5:30. So potentially you have 1.5/2 hours after the excursion to go. The transfer to the skylift takes approximately 10 mins so you maybe able to do it but be aware it might be tight. I wouldn’t want you missing the all aboard time

Yes you can do main dining room or buffet on last morning before getting off - only option not available is room service

When getting back on your last day to return to Southampton port .what time did you get there as we’re going back to Norwich .lol hopefully we’re have lift back home .

I think the ship gets in about 6am and you can get off usually from about 7:30/8 if you want to self-disembark (take your luggage off yourself) or if you want to collect luggage in the luggage hall you are probably looking about 9/9:30. We were at the train station at about 9:30/9:40

Just been, couldn't do the glacier because i was supporting someone with mobility issues, we went on a coach tour for 4 hours, it was beautiful. The locals waving goodbye was a lovely gesture.
