So they like the tray saw because is lighter? Are they gonna get lighter tiles too? 🤔 If you are worried about moving heavy objects around, tiling is now for you

This is just awful. Not enough water on a dark stone, and that profile is going to be wavy. You polished it to a nice haze. Unacceptable to be installed.

Hello. I got a used Makita 4140 and I need some help. I would like to cut marble tiles using the water cutting function. I have a small water pump and it's original water tube which is attached to the cutter. I will obviously immers the water pump in a bucket of water. Question. Can I use it like this directly, I mean is this, are the house of cutters water sealed to avoid being electrocuted? Mine works with 230-240 V

You can sharpen many many blades with that? Look like you used most of it just then? Also why do continuous tile blades slightly chip the tile?
@MasterWholesaleInc2 жыл бұрын
Yes, you can sharpen many times with a dressing stone. Make the cuts on it closer together and use all 4 sides. Blades chip tile when they are not sharp, cutting too fast, or applying too much pressure pushing the blade into the tile. Use a good quality blade with high diamond count and a nice slow cut and you will minimize chipping.

we just bought a Ridgid R4092 10" tile saw and it works great! On its third job and everything is working fine. It cut square out of box and right down that laser line so accuracy is 100%. The tray has no play and it can rip 32" so cutting large tile is a breeze! Had an old QEP and you had to know the saw to get a straight cut and the over spray was bad! Also love that the Ridgid is pretty quiet for a tile saw and it brakes the blade when turned off so the saw isnt just spinning on which plays a big part in cutting down the noise. I give the saw a 9 out of 10 and highly recommend it. I never use a blade supplied by the manufacturer but keep it as a spare. All our saws have top self blades because that really matters when you cut a lot of tile and expect perfection on every cut.

Brilliant and well balanced video. You've mentioned what model of DeWalt tile saw you were using and what model of the bridge saw? Maybe I've missed the details. Nonetheless a very good and helpful video. Thank you.

Yes. If you cut small strips into the stone lengthwise and then cut off the cut edge you can actually use the stone about 10 times instead the way he did but the principle is the same and it does work.
