Bad luck on both rounds. If I may make a suggestion though: increase the speed in the settings. Once you've seen a few hands of the game you get the idea and waiting for each card to score slowly is a slog.

FYI: You don't get points for food in your supply unless you have a bird that does something special. Cached food on a bird is worth one point per food.

You stumbled into one of the strongest cards in the base game. The Ravens allow you to get eggs and food in a single turn, allowing you to get points while also getting food to place other birds. Very strong card.

The icons are confusing. Unless you have the arrows it's not your turn, but the hourglass isn't over the player whose turn it is.

You're supposed to pick your starter birds in the beginning. You have five options and you pick the ones that seem interesting to you and then you round out to five things picked with the food. Also the bonus card should match the cards you drafted.

I was able to find a simple solution for windows. As he mentioned you still need to add the second QXL, but i installed spice-guest-tools on the windows vm and both displays worked. If you Google "spice-guest-tools" should be pretty easy to find the documentation. Hopefully that helps someone!

No. There isn’t a Vita emulator for Linux. Would need to be an Android or Windows handheld

This made it far simpler than I imagined, even for a Windows guest. Thanks! Though you do need virt-viewer or another SPICE client if you want to bring up the different displays; I'm saying this because I didn't have it installed initially. Also virt-viewer is a bit quirky and I had to run `virt-viewer -c qemu:///system [NAME_OF_YOUR_VM]` for it to work.
