Thanks. This was an earlier video but I’ve since dialed back the music. The Falcon is a cool car. If you want to run it, I recommend replacing the front end with 3D printed parts

The receiver and esc are integrated. There’s not really a way to plug the new ESC into the factory Rx so. Short answer no.

hello.. I have a giant e+ex pro from 2022 and I moved the speed sensor to the pedals to go faster and the syncdrive warning appeared on the display and it goes intermittently even if I put the sensor in its place... what can be done? Thank you!

I was just thinking about this comparison the other day, I just got me another Ricky Carmike bike off Ebay a month ago after seeing the Losi at my local hobby. Have you ever ran a vintage Royal rc motorcycle? Those are about the same size but they are on road only. Would love to see you mess with one of those and do a review. Peace!

@@geriba001 The bike is from 2018 so I’m pretty sure it’s a PW-X. I’ve replaced the nylon gear a couple of times now and have noticed that there is excessive wear on the pinion gear probably due to the glass filled nylon aftermarket gear. The glass filled nylon material is abrasive. So, I’m on the hunt for parts again. In the US, I found this shop that I am going to reach out to ebikemotorrepair.com/?v=0b3b97fa6688

I just bought 1 & would love to know your thoughts on the gyroscopic bell bearings? I'm thinking of replacing the bearings and not buying the complete bell Losi sells.

The bearings get noisy pretty fast I don’t know if there are solutions out there. I just run it as is.

These are still marketed by Torro Germany. They also do 2 Tiger1 mid production. Hobby Boss also make a static kit version. I've seen upgrades using a Heng Long lower hull and running gear as the original won't accommodate HL/Taigen gearboxes. I've found that the recoil gears in the Tiger are prone to failing and presume the same applies to the T34.

Those screws in the arms are to adjust for suspension droop. You adjust ride height via the shocks peload collars.

On a normal track car, I would agree with you. on my speedrun cars, I have my suspension pretty stiff such that the shocks have high preload and there is no droop. So I use those screws to set the height of each wheel which both sets ride height, and ensures that I’m getting ~equal traction at each wheel by adjusting the wheel load. I focus on left to right balancing. I don’t know how much this matters but it makes sense in my head and the cars seem to track straight.

Great run Are you running cheat timing. Some times it will cut out like that if it's too aggressive. It might be rapid thermal rise in the esc there is no setting to turn that cutoff off. Might have to go to a monster x 8s or the new cobra 8 or if you want to really open up the taps get a ghost rc cobra 8 with drag software.

Thanks Charles, I am running 25 deg timing at the moment, kicking in at 12k through 40k. With a final drive ratio of 2.43 this equates to kicking in at 35mph through 117mph. I’ve never played around with timing much, just throwing it in and gradually increasing it with each run. So this was my SWAG. Thoughts?

@jack-o-trades I was told that cheat runs in 2 pole mode so you need to 2x your rpms to set it where it should actually be. I havent tested this out yet.

wow you are getting nearer to 124.3 Mph (200 kph) I remember from seeing those speed run guys on YT years ago, they use a mighty big capacitor pack so they don't get those cut off's like you mention
