Not counting the music, but something about this game gives “Streets of Rage with a Ninja” vibes. If it was a possible, I could see this being finished and released on the Nintendo Switch as a lost game release type of thing. Limited Run? Lookin’ at you. Needs the dreaded knockback mechanic and regenerating enemies from their spawn point. Can the new generation handle what we all struggled through? Cost some of us NES controllers or two, and Nintendos weren't cheap back then. Great job, though! May this be a success for the creator of this demo.

@@mangelangel2570 ninja gaiden is infamous for its fun game play so i wanted to play this after watching avgn but nes is 8 bit. i'm afraid it will hurt my eyes so i've found a better version, which is this, enhanced graphic but it's got blood spraying and head flying off of enemies' body, etc. i don't want to see that in full hd. if they have a toned down version or option, i am willing to play. until then, no 😷

This is absolutely the wrong style of artwork for this game. The charm of the original is the pixel art and comic style. This 2d-3d look is incredibly generic and boring looking by comparison.
